ok I just found out that samsung gives a usb-c to micro usb adapter in the box to all customers. So i tried it with my micro usb cable using quick charge 2.0 and works perfectly. now all i have to do is order some more usb type c to micro usb adapters.

Seriously, skip the wireless charger if you like to charge your phone over night. The wireless charger will have your battery sitting at over 100 degrees (mine was at 105) for the entire night. Just using the USB C cable and wall charger will get your battery hot for about 45 minutes while it quick charges, then it will stay cool the rest of the night. Ever since I realized that I only use the wireless charger for brief charging periods during the day. Like I'll throw my phone on the wireless charger while I'm eating dinner or watching a show. But I never leave it on for more than 45-60 minutes. Heat is the number one killer of li-ion batteries, and the wireless charger is pretty much a stove top for your phone.

Kur Norock yes, I have the same experience with the high temp, but so far since the battery only uses a tiny amount of charge when not in use, and it only takes an hour and a half to fully charge for me, I no longer feel the need to keep charging it so often.
I have the S8+ with a lifeproof case on it, I brought the Samsung wireless charger and found that when the case is one (which is all the time) it won't charge I don't know if this is happening with all cases but it definitely happens with this one, as soon as I take the case off no problem charges fine.

Heya, Enin! Well, after test listening to the JBL and UE line of speakers, I ended up going with 2 Flip 4 speakers. Super portable and very good sound, especially when pairing them. They do a great job providing music when playing pool in my family room and if I need to go somewhere and require sound to travel with me, I can grab one off the fireplace mantle and out the door I go. Love the build quality of these things!
The charging pad is plugged in, but you just leave that plugged in. When you walk into the room, you set your phone on the pad, and it charges. At that time, you don't have to plug anything in.
wireless charger at home by my desk, and wired charger at work (I share a desk with coworkers on other shifts and cannot clutter the area with expensive gear I don't want to go missing) backpack usually contains; wired charger, battery pack, Bluetooth speaker & headphones, earbud headphones, and tablet with Bluetooth keyboard Also have a smart watch I got as a gift which I use from time to time I'd get more accessories but I feel like it'd be going overboard with too many niche items that will mostly add weight to my pack and not see much use. Tips I think are cool but not many people use/know; you can connect both a keyboard and mouse to the s8 and s8+ either bluetooth or usung the usb adapter and a splitter to make it a small computer, on earbuds with a volume rocker there is another button (the play/pause button) which can be used for a variety of things like taking pictures with out having to hold your phone in a way that your arm is in the shot.

If you get a case for an S8, you should probably also buy a good screen protector since the whole thing is glass, and ever since the S6 Edge, Samsung will go to great lengths to make you buy a brand new phone, instead of them fixing it.
There are lots of fast charging docks for 20 bucks on amazon. so you dont need to spend 60 on the Samsung one. There are also a few fast charging car docks out there as well so no need to buy a slow charging one also.

I understand your need to charge devices :) BUT the car cradle... why need wireless? the power plug is right there millimeters anyways, surely you are paying a lot extra for this wireless feature, just to save you from plugging it into your phone lol only thing I can gather from it, is to stop the repetitiveness of plugging phone in every time, but even that would take 1 or 2 seconds :/
The wireless car charger is completely useless in my opinion. You say you have it because you don't like seeing cables all over your car. Well doesn't the wireless charger take a charging cable? If you have a regular car mount you can connect the cable to it to store it for your phone via a small paper clamp.
Just one thing about this video NEVER CHARGE YOUR SMARTPHONE IF IT IS OVER 10% IF YOU WANT A GOOD STRONG LASTING BATTERY. Here is a little tip once you have your new smartphone and you want to charge it for the first time just wait until it go out of power and shut off only then charge your smartphone until it get at a 100% that is a fact to have a good long lasting battery
