I think the climb (just before the A27, going east), is the hardest climb on the South Downs Way? But do you agree? It’s certainly my least favourite.

Well done for getting up that climb, it defeated me a couple of weeks ago. I'm determined to get up it before the wet weather starts.
Keep trying, it’s definitely doable, but really needs to be dry. 👍
I was always ok on this one. Just after this you drop to A27, coming up this descent from the A27 was my killer. Usually did it but hated every cm!
I know exactly where you mean, but strangely always found that one slightly easier.

I meant Streat Bostal might be steeper but not sure it it is part of SDW.
My mistake, should have read your message properly. Is Streat Bostal on the north side of the Downs?
No worries. Yeh it’s on the north side. I haven’t got all the way up it yet. Always have to walk the last bit from the corner. 🤢😃

We are not exactly setting the league on fire, but there are certainly worse teams to follow. Definitely not naming them 🤐
The Muddy Cyclist Definitely seeing an improvement with Arteta in charge. Hopefully he gets the backing to bring in who he wants over the summer
