@@simawds72 It looked like one! - kudos for seeing it through and sharing the experience - I'll wait until the summer for attacking the full SDW - and perhaps not all in a day! cheers
the gate half way down Butser is a balls-ache. Mate of mine had to get the back end out and chuck the bike in front of him (a controlled fall off!) as he was no way going to stop in time - and we are local enough to know the gate is there! Amazing ride though, well done, can hear in your voice you were always going to do it!
Thanks Mark. I took a break around every 2 hours, then more often as the ride wore on. I had to find some sort of shelter from the wind and rain in bushes, under trees. If it had been nicer weather I would have probably rested more. as I was cold I cracked on a bit more.
You were bonkers doing it in that weather. Chapeaux. Great will power.
cheers, it turned into a ninja test!
well done mate. especially in that weather
cheers buddy, got a bit blowy at times!
well done....massive effort in those conditions!
cheers dude, it was a mission!

Great work. I'm planning on doing this in July, just praying it's not too hot!
