Thank you so much for your video, I had the same problem on my trafic, I took it to 4 garages and to the best Renault dealer in Barcelona and none of them could solve the canbus problem, they all offered me very expensive solutions, I changed the ECU and the problem continued. I was lucky enough to see your video and I found and fix the problem, it cost me €0. it tock me 20 minutes. It was at the dealership for 46 days and they wanted to charge €856 without having solved the problem. I really congratulate you
hey thanks for the video,it was very informative,i had a similiar issue the other day,my renault trafic was fine when i parked it up,came up an electronic issue and wouldnt start.I thought it was a fault with a fuse in the area you described but couldnt see anything wrong,so i went to the fuse panel behind the drinks holder on the passenger side.I took out fuse numbers 12 and 13 they are immobiliser and diagnostic plug.,they were fine ,however when i replaced them the van started.I will look again tomorrow and check the area you worked in once again in case i missed something, thanks very much again for your help.
have the same problem with ours. pulled every fuse behind the drink holder, and all looked fine. gonna try and replace them and also check the blue plug.
Had a similar situation, Nissan Primastar wouldn't start, no dash lights at all. Checked the blue plug and every fuse under the bonnet. No change. Then checked the fuses under the cupholder and found two burned out. Replaced them and it works great. Go figure! Will have to get it into the garage to check it, they should't have burned out under normal operation.
Great video. Have issue with no rev on pedal when I start up...minute or so and then I can rev. Orange coil light was on dash for a while...gone out now. Going to look at this blue plug. I changed the MAP sensor and no difference. Thank you for all this info.
Thanks for posting this video I had exactly this issue with my Nissan primastar and found it was the same corroded pin in the blue plug corrosion didn’t look to bad but enough to mess it up thanks again keep posting 👍
I have 2.2 dci nissan interstar 2004 for over 10 years, I am just keeping repair something changing parts and now i have the same issues with wiring. It is not just immobiliser but the main shaft sensor connection, speed sensor in the gearbox connection, abs seatbelt connection and now I am not sure which connection, but sometimes it starts, sometimes no. If it does not starts, you come back in 30 minutes and it starts like new. Electrical contact spray helped for 10 minutes. It was my biggest mistake to buy french car in the first place.
It's now for some odd reason, become a non-starter, the 70A FUSE to the glow plug controller keeps blowing, is this the glow plug controller? Can I just fit a new one or is it coded?
Why there is NO engine check light when you turn ignitation on?? Is that normal? I have 1.9dci 2006 and no check engine light when ignition is on... But when I do calibration engine check light is working. Thank you for your video 🎉
Will this work if EPROM code comes up? I’ve changed clocks BCM and transponder and still the code comes up had it reprogrammed but still same EPROM code any idea?
