- Brought the float tube out to Santa Ana River Lakes for the 1st time.
Wanted to switch things up and fish the big lake and get on the water. I only had about 2 hours to fish. Met some cool people on the water that showed me the ropes and had me change up my rig. Fly lining (no weight) is the key! I was metering fish and they were all suspended, and not sitting on the bottom as many would think catfish would be doing.

Not yet, but I’m considering getting one. Will definitely need it in the windy days. So far haven’t needed it, but best to be prepared.
