Elderly man was stuck in his house | HUGE yard clear up | my biggest FREE garden job so far

- This garden was so overgrown I had to view it from over the neighbour's fence. i was contacted by the people next door asking if I could help this elderly gentleman. he once loved his garden but has not been able to look after it for years. he is still just able enough to be able to go outside but the garden was completely inaccessible and you couldn't even get out the back door. so my job was to clear it enough for him to be able to go outside and nit be stuck indoors all the time. hope you enjoy. huge shoutout to the guys next door. And to the carers who do an amazing job, and all carers everywhere for what thy do. peace.

What a WONDERFUL JOB you have done for this gentleman!! I was a care giver for 20+ years and know what some of these elderly people went through as to being unable to do simple things anymore. On my days off my husband and I would go to their homes and mow lawns, fix simple things around their home for free. They would thank us endlessly. So keep up your GREAT WORK at helping these elderly people, I know they appreciate it. We are now in our 70's and Praise God we can still do our own lawn and things around our home. The variety of plants in that garden is astounding and would have been beautiful in its prime. Sad to see, but a necessary one. On the upside, animals will have carried the seeds to other areas around the place, so all isn't lost. Great job clearing the place though, at least they will be able to enjoy it again and stuff will grow back for sure. That soil will be so fertile and rich from all the effort that went into getting the garden he wanted.

Brilliant transformation, I bet the guy had a lovely garden once, with his greenhouse,water butts ,and his compost still laying around. Hopefully it will put a smile when he sees this.
I cannot imagine how much weedeater string you used on this jungle. Whew! Who would have thought there was a greenhouse and well in the backyard. Everything looks so good now. I hope the resident has outdoor table and chairs to sit at and sip coffee in the morning or enjoy lunch/dinner. So peaceful. Shortly as the weather changes, it will have green grass and flowers. ❤😊

This is not a beast of a project compared to my garden. Which I can't make pretty with flowers in any way because my hubby has let it overgrow.

Yes, great work, a carer of happiness and well being. The gentleman will understand his garden and what will bloom this year or perhaps needs replanting. I love to watch the restoration of antique furniture and the care taken to preserve the original character of the furniture.
You have done yourself proud by restoring this garden to its original glory.
You can clearly see that when the owners were young and able a lot of love and work was put into it.
It brings a tear to my eye when I remember the love and attention that my late father in law put into his garden and house. An age gone by.
It makes me emotional and brings to mind the song "Yesterday " written by Paul McCartney of the Beatles.
