    Just got this guitar a couple weeks ago and I can’t say enough good things about it. It looks gorgeous, plays like a dream, and sounds just amazing. And this video is a very accurate representation of the sound. Thanks!

    P90s are the best pickups on a Les Paul body if you're not set on getting that super thick saturated sound. You can get way more variety of tones with them. Great to have more affordable quality options on the market for this type of guitar.

    There appears to be a lack of good P90 singlecuts in the mid priced guitar world and this one looks and sounds ace. Great playing.

      @@jixxxxer17 I'm sitting here watching the dang Eagles win with the Goldtop on my lap unplugged. It's great. I love it. FedEx dropped the burst and put a dent in it. I like this one better. it's light gold but looks and plays great.

    • @alementary4065
      @alementary4065 Год назад +1

      @ModaMontArt it's actually fantastic. Pickups are outstanding. Fit and finish is basically flawless. Only negative is the frets weren't polished as well as I would like, but that's easily remedied. They were very even, and the ends were very well finished. Had it a couple weeks now, and it was a very good purchase. Neck is thinner and flatter than expected, but very comfortable to play.

    Lekkere demo Bart. LP en P90's vind ik sowieso te gek. Gezien de specs lijkt de prijs-kwaliteit moeilijk te evenaren in deze prijsklasse. Hoe is de kleur in het echt? Lijkt me niet helemaal vintage goldtop.

    • @BartDietvorst
      @BartDietvorst  Год назад +1

      Dank je! De kleur is idd niet als een vintage goldtop, maar dat is bij een nieuwe Gibson ook niet. Deze gitaar is sws iets meer modern dan vintage qua design/specs.

  • @renatosuetake

    Have you ever had the chance to play a Vintage V100 Gold top or a Gibson Tribute with P90s? I wonder how they would compare

    • @BartDietvorst
      @BartDietvorst  Год назад +3

      I had the Vintage JB Goldtop for a while (regret selling it) but it had humbuckers. The Gibson is a bit more vintage style and feel compared to the more modern Sire.

    Being the owner of the guitar this is modeled after, I can say Sire is one of the few brands I would strongly consider if buying an import. Which I don’t do, I am very much a non apologetic and proud made in USA activist. So I dont say that lightly. If I were to buy an import i would strongly look at Sire, especially the 335 clone but this model as well. Thank you for this well done demonstration.

    Thanks for the video. How noisey are the pickups? P90s are generally noisey? Are you able to compare this Sire model to the newish Yamaha Revstar P90 model? Cheers

    • @BartDietvorst
      @BartDietvorst  Год назад

      P90's are single coils so the're will always be some hum but these sound great to my ears. I haven't played a Revstar yet so can't tell.
