    Nice beaver the 2nd one was HUGE. I once had one spin on me at the trap and all I had was the castor. A few days later he made a mistake and I caught him in a 330

    Interesting theory on the rear leg catch. Several years ago had a 330 that was sprung twice. It avoided another set completely. It moved on in the Spring never returned. HOA cut down food sources and never returned. Now another one has taken up residence and blocked out flow to the 3+ acre pond?!

    Scott, you used to place your trigger on the bottom so you wouldn't damage fur. Why the change?

    • @chrisholmes6029
      @chrisholmes6029 6 месяцев назад +1

      I wonder if it has to do with the H stands.

    • @330Maniac
      @330Maniac  6 месяцев назад +1

      I've noticed that in bank den entrances beaver will walk through the traps sometimes and trip the 330 with their foot before getting into the trap. Also right now beavers are being sold for Hatter market so a little fur damage isn't so bad.

    do you bother with adjusting the triggers on your 330s ? and have you tried zip ties under the safteys to hold them in place?

      @redfeather4452 Beaver are a nuisance around here. They cause 100 million dollars in damage annually in the US. Flood farmland and public roads. Destroying crops affecting lives. You're barking up the wrong tree trying to preach to me about animal management.
