Been doing some nuisance trapping the last month on those double lodges i told you about. I've pulled 6 out so far. The last one I got out weighed 64 3/4 lbs just a beast. It's been a challenge to get the traps set on them the water is so dark (iron) and deep. 10' right out of the lodge run so it's hunt and peck for the run but getting it done. Going to wait till spring now to get the rest on drowning sets.
Where do you live? Because I know where a nine year old beaver is The beaver is so huge it looks like a log. It tried to take my 19in walleye off my Stringer And it was trying to attack me multiple times when I was fishing from the bank. So I threw a stump at it then it swam away😂😂
@georgepotter5101 2 years ago right around the end of May at Tonseth Lake I've been seeing her for years and her baby's but that's the first time that happened normally I stand in the water with waders and she swims right by me like 15 feet to 20 feet Especially when I'm catching fish she normally very nice
That looks like a cool low effort & maintenance way to enjoy yourself relaxing & doing some ice fishing. I'm a real cheap skate & low income guy,but if I had the money to blow, i certainly would for times, when i want things trouble free & not in the mood for the usual hassles & effort required? Hot fish gumbo, bring it on! Warn you,I have been a cook in food service. I would get you hooked!
Awesome set up. I wish we still had cold Winters here in northern NY, 75% of the places I normally fish did not freeze here this year. Unusually warm in the north east this year.
Good idea!! If you found the holes they gotta be sweet!! Nice shacks!!
Catch and cook!!!
I absolutely love this!
That's the way to ice fish. It seems like you would actually be warm
I don't ice fish, but what does the ice look like? Right? i'm from minnesota from ottertail County fergus falls, MN
👍
Good to see you plugging fir the local business! It is tough in the northwoods this “winter “.

I live just south of Duluth
When did this happen? Ya they can be rather territorial. That is a big beaver for sure, you don't want to get bit by one them teeth are sharp

Great video Scott! It’s tough to find blue gill and pumpkin seeds up here but they are a blast to catch and we love eating them!

No, every rental is that much. All the sleeper shacks around me are 250 to 300 per night.
