    Hey Joe... that ice saw is sweet... I live in the Ohio amish area and we've been cutting ice around here the past few weeks. That'd come in handy! Some amish actually use an engine gas powered cutter too. Cheers! Hope to get BACK to Maine this fall.

    Knowing you from your videos when you say you gave away your old eskimo hub for a family to live in for a winter...I felt the emotion with that. I had to pause the video so I could pray for them.
    Have you ever thought about trying to use either the flame king or Mr heater refillable 1lb propane systems? I have the flame king system and got to say it's pretty clutch.
    I'm guessing the rods are the tuned up rods and unfortunately I have never used them but from all the people I hear from they are great rods.
    Hope to see you out on the ice this year! Good luck

    Joe, can you comment on the Roughneck vs Legend ice suits? I think you’ve used both now. Love your content by the way out here in Wisconsin!

    • @JoeHollandFishing
      @JoeHollandFishing  9 месяцев назад

      So the legends are by far their best models lots of pockets set up to be warmest and most wind resistant and the highest price. The roughnecks are more budget and a little bit lighter warmth wise . I found myself wearing the roughnecks more the past year but it doesn’t mean they are better it was just a quick grab and they work fine. I’ve had no problems at all with either of them . I think the legends look cooler and I’ll probably wear mine a little more on the future

    Hi Joe, nice new gear! I wanted to ask you about the Chinese diesel heater. Did you used it last season? I don't saw any video about this diesel heater. What are your thoughts about it? I'm pretty happy with this heater, it produces really dry air in my opinion. I built the diesel heater into a aluminium box which can stay outside the tent. The heat is directed into the tent through an exhaust hose similar to that of a tumble dryer. I use the same inlet that you use for the wood stove.
    Have a good one bud ✌️
