- In 2016, a controversial deal was signed between the European Union and Turkey to stop refugees from making the short, yet perilous crossing to the Greek islands. The refugees who do make it to these islands, must wait indefinitely for their asylum cases to be processed. This documentary portrays the unusual transit zone the island of Lesbos has become, through the eyes of two Pakistani refugees and a local fishing community.
This short documentary won the Prix Graine de doc at the French festival Doc en courts.

I did 1 year voluntary work at Moria. My conclusion- Nobody told you to come to Greece, you illegally made your way and got stuck here. So why complain about your welfare here? You made the choice, we never promised you food and beds. Before complaining about your "rights" to monthly cash, beds, food and other services you have never contributed to through paying tax like the citizens have, recognise that Greece is struggling with its own people. We only have as many children as our budget allows. You have 3 or 4 children and have no financial security. That is your choice, we didnt force you. It's not that we dont care, it's that you have come to a country which has collapsed economically. Dont accuse us of racism, it's equally racist for refugees to come and demand from us and speak badly of our country when we do not have the infrastructure to support them

Refugees aren't responsible for the situation in their country of origin and most want to travel through Greece, not stay there. If the EU decides to set up camps on Greek islands, the EU should make sure the conditions in those camps conform with human rights laws. The EU is to blame for the squalor and ridiculously long asylum procedures in said camps.
Or they could do what Ukrainians
are doing ? Go back and fight for their freedom . ? Life in camp

Yes, I agree, they deserve a better life, but IN THEIR OWN COUNTRIES! They have no right to sneak into any other country, but their own.
All of them will be deported anyway, at the European taxpayer expense. And you wonder why we are sick and tired of this crap.
