Welcome back. Sorry for the loss of your dad. Penny, try Retro Clean to soak your needlework project, I used it on a wedding sampler my sister started for her wedding 43 years ago. Came out beautifully. I loved the crows and had to buy the one with the Crescent Moon even though I am trying to stitch from my stash. Glad both of you are recovered from surgery.

So good to see you again. My neighbor had the same issue with her hip and was diagnosed after six weeks. She had a hip replacement and is back to her old self now. I had an overuse injury to my wrist in June that wasn't properly diagnosed for a couple of months so I haven't X-stitched since then. Apparently, you can cross-stitch too much! I went back to my quilting. I'm sorry you both have been through so much.
It's so nice to see you both again! I stitched a Carolyn Manning during my recuperation after a knee rereplacement. I made a huge mistake and had to restart. So my first rule or piece of advice for stitchers is,"Never, ever stitch on opioids." 😂
Both Angie and I would agree. We did a few restarts while recouping. I still haven’t really finished many things although I did stitch quite a few! Keep stitching. - Penny

It was good to see you both looking and feeling well. I would be in AZ and going to AZ Stitches but a hip has kept me up north. Not my hip but my husband’s hip. I’ve been “driving Miss Daisy” for six weeks now. Hopefully before too much longer he can travel, get health insurance and I can join you again. You’ve both stitched some beautiful things. I'm so excited that you are back! I was worried about the two of you. It's good to know that your issues are mostly fixed with bionic parts. Penny is ahead in the bionic parts count and will be even farther ahead in March. If only there were bionic fingers that allowed us to stitch faster and with more accuracy (less frogging). We can try that. I also saw to make a paste with ivory soap (bar) and hydrogen peroxide. I’m going to try that too. It needs to sit in sunshine after brushing it into fabric. Happy Stitching. - Penny
