You have such lovely stitching, and I enjoyed watching another of your videos. I plan to purchase a bundle of NikkiPatterns mini art designs as soon as I get home to my computer. Thank you for introducing us to her cute patterns!
Thank you so much and so happy to hear you aim to buy a bundle of the art mini's. They are such a delight to stitch. I just finished by great canal piece! Wishing you a good week!
I’m so glad I found you. I wish I could come for tea and then go shopping for out of print patterns with you. I’m of Dutch background too and have been back a few times but that was before I was into cross stitching. I would so love to find patterns of Dutch landscapes, etc. Anything Dutch really. Anyway I’m going to check out your Etsy shop now. I really enjoyed your flosstube. 🥰
That would be so great! We would have lovely days out and about! We could go cycling, which is properly dutch ;). Thanks for watching! Wishing you a good week!
You have such a pretty selection of stitching in this video. And I enjoy seeing your collection of beautiful China. My mother insisted on using China teacups for our coffee and tea when she was alive. They were bone China cups and saucers. Thank you for sharing your cross stitch with everyone.
Thank you so much for sharing about your mother's china cups! Always good to know I am not the only one enjoying those pretty little cups :). Wishing you a lovely week! Happy stitching!
Hi Hanneke! I love everything you stitch! The hoop finish is perfect for the pattern with the roses and embroidery hoop. As soon as you showed Pastoral and Astoria I went right to Etsy and bought both patterns. I can’t wait to start them both!
I would wait until I have finished stitching the whole picture, then I would soak it in warm water with a mild dish soap, squeeze the water out in a bath towel.. lay flat to dry. And Press gently .❤
Thanks so much! Washing stitching is always a bit scary. Someone pointed me to a needlework teacher on flosstube who shows how to wash in between and I have given it a go. Came out beautiful. Will share next flosstube :)
Groetjes, Evelien
I love your channel. You are so articulate and lovely to listen to while I stitch and watch. Your projects are just what I would choose too. Keep on posting! ❤
Hanneke you always find the most glorious floral patterns, I’m making notes. Don’t we wish we could stitch everything? Thank you for sharing the beauty. 🪡🧵☮️❤️
I know! We have way too little time. And stay tuned for the next flosstube because over the weekend I found some stunning floral patterns ;). Have a lovely week!
I enjoy loose leaf tea and have a good variety of it too. I currently am drinking Licorice Spice. I found it at a tea shop when we went to Canada. I love loose leaf a lot. You have such a nice variety of patterns. Beautiful finishes! The swing is a great addition to the one pattern you showed. It's perfect! A yard of fabric from Color and Cotton is a treat. I have some of their fabric and floss too. I have plans to do an Ink Circles with purple floss and when I'm ready I will pick the right shade. The blue you picked is so pretty. The "fancy" flosses are fun. Enjoyed your Flosstube. I was so excited when Pam and Steph mentioned you and I already subscribe. 😊
Thank you so much! Licorice Spice sounds like a tea flavour I should add to my collection. Love licorice! Ink circles in purple sounds like a great combination! Would love to know how that turns out! Wishing you a lovely week! Happy stitching!
What a perfect addition to your tree to add the little swing. The touch of blue in the tree brings harmony to the scene. I look forward to see the progress you have made on your lovely projects whenever you post a new video. Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring us! Carol in Texas
Thanks Carol! I am so happy with that little swing. Detail is important :). Thanks for watching and commenting. I do appreciate it. Have a lovely week!
It looks like there’s room on your camper frame to add a thinner mounting board to attach your piece to. That way the back of the frame with the stand can do its job by covering up what’s underneath. More work after the fact, but worth it unless your taping is going to ruin the back stand. Thank you for your video.
You could cut a rectangle of decorative paper or brown paper to fit the bak of the caravan frame. Make one diagonal cut to accommodate the stand. You might need to trim around a tiny bit! Then glue to the frame around the edges or use double sided tape.
Hanneke! Greetings from Dallas, Texas! I always look forward to your videos! I love everything you stitch! You are going to really enjoy Stitching and Tea with B. I think the hoop finish for your beautiful floral stitch is perfect! The hoop within a hoop is a fun accent. Thanks for all you do! Hugs!! ❤️
Thank you so much! So lovely to know where people are from! So I am returning your hug and am sending it all the way to Dallas Texas :). Happy stitching
Lots if beautiful stitching. I like the round hoop finish for your floral cross stitch. It is cute to have the hoop frame with the hoop in the picture. Amazing stitchy kindness.. the people in our community are awesome.
Hi Hanneke, Greetings from the UK! I usually frame my projects and I do it by using acid free mount board. I cut the board to the size of the frame (very slightly smaller to allow for the thickness of the fabric) and then fold the piece around the board and secure it around the back by lacing a sturdy thread horizontally and the vertically in order to tension the fabric. Then just assemble it in the frame in the usual way. I hope this makes sense! I really enjoy your flosstube and look forward to your videos.
That definitely makes sense and thank you for sharing. I guess I don't always take the time to properly lace the pieces in the back. Wishing you a lovely week! Happy stitching
I love the swing. It was the right thing to do. The roses look fantastic, and yes a circular frame will, look good, but you could consider a square frame with an insert that circles the embroidery. I have all the Mirabilia Queens, all done and on the wall in matching frames. Would you like a photo of them at some point. I have quite a few Mirabilia patterns, not all stitched yet. I enjoy your calm voice while I watch and stitch. Thank you. 😊
Oh that must be a glorious wall if you have all of them stitched and framed! If you can share a picture I would love to see it! My email is h.wiltjer@live.nl. Happy stitching!
Happy belated birthday 🎂 I like the embroidery hoop as your frame for the roses cross stitch. It mirrors the hoop in thr pattern. The blue-seat swing is icing on the cake, it added blue to the bottom left corner and balanced the piece.
Thanks so much! 😊 I will finish the roses in the hoop one of these weeks because I have decided it is the right finish. Wishing you a lovely week! Happy stitching
Our projects get man-handed with love. I would suggest waiting until you are totally done before washing. The variety in your stitching is encouraging to step out of my box.
The lady you are looking for is stitching with tea and B,l didn’t know there is so many types of tea,lm not a tea drinker although I’m English, never developed a taste for it,but after watching her channel,it’s so interesting, The stitching is wonderful, she has just finished some African ladies and they are so rich in colour, wonderful Your wonderful roses in the hoop looks amazing, made me look at flowers to stitch again.
Thank you so much. I have put her flosstube channel on my watch list :). Being English and not being a tea drinker is quite an interesting combination ;). I learned to appreciate tea when I lived in England. After all, it is not about the tea but about taking the time ;). Have a lovely week
Hanneke thank you for a lovely video. I watched all of your videos and I am caught up now. Was fun connecting with you and visiting. Stitching a Lucie Heaton design for a baby gift. ❤ Rachel
Thanks Rachel! So lovely to hear you watched all my videos! Love lucie heaton. Her winter birds is still one of my favourite pieces to have on display. Happy stitching!
Fijne week!
I enjoyed my visit with & your lovely projects. The Roses for a Needlewoman piece is beautiful but I would not put it in a hoop frame as the 2 hoops would annoy me. It definitely needs a round frame but maybe not a hoop. The Caravan piece is so suitable for your friend . I love Marjolein Bastin cross stitch pictures & have 2 hanging up in my home but I find she can overdesign. From both pieces I removed some of the fiddly elements. I like the Summer pattern you have by her & would stitch it without the frame. I like how you are improving the frame with a bit more colour rather that all that beige. I think once we have bought a pattern we can change it as we like !
Thanks so much! I think making little changes allows for us all to make pieces our own. :) My friends was so happy with the caravan piece which was great! Have a great week!

Hi! Thank you very much for watching and I am so happy to hear you enjoyed it! It is a always a bit of a balance between my chatting and my stitching, and I am happy to hear you found the balance to be ok. Wishing you a good week. Happy stitching

Thanks! I have put her on my watch list! Have a lovely week
Love the finished flowers and hoop picture. Belated Happy Birthday and your new birthday start.
Thank you so much! Wishing you a lovely week!
Another flosstuber who incorporates tea into her videos is Gently Smiling Jaws. She enjoys Asian teas and has interesting projects.
I will definitely have a little look at that channel. Thanks!
Cover the back of the Caravan picture with cute scrapbook paper.
Thank you Grandma :). I did exactly that and it tunred out lovely! Happy stitching!
