@@darksplash2191 from what I have seen on the costreams, he originally was defending Busio for the Azir pick and as they went on he has gotten more critical of things such as that even going as far sometimes to say that he feels like he is Busio's coach. I don't think its drama/bad blood, but I do think it made a working relationship difficult whereas Massu seems to fit with Busio much better ie willing to try things and improve together rather than only focusing on the support

I am financially in a really bad place and just lost more than 2 thousand dollars worth of things + all of my childhood photos while moving. 4 month ago I dislocated my ellbow and now I have a permanent damage and cant straighten my main arm. (maybe in like 1 year or something not sure yet, just hope it wont be for the rest of my life) That said we cant forget that we dont live in north korea or some shit and we gotta be thankful for what we have. Yeah that segment was kind of disappointing. As someone who watches Destiny, I think they're actually right about some things like how his style is by definition going to include being bad faith at times, since he gets into heated arguments, and Destiny himself admits that he won't back down and will only reflect on things after the fact, however I think some of what they said is outdated (he used to be much worse about it, so that's probably what they remember) and also the fact that they said he bullies people by being very woke is definitely not the case. Oh well, I think they could actually have some interesting civil conversations with him if they wanted to, but also I feel like they're all opinionated people where one thing could set off an argument and make them hate each other more haha, so I don't see things changing

What I don’t get is why it has to be so extreme nowadays. There’s multiple champs sitting at 55% or more win rate all the time, often in multiple roles. I think it was in season 9 when they buffed AD Neeko to 58% wr accidentally. Guess what, they hotfixed it and kept nerfing it out of the game because noone wants to play vs a CC mage that auto attacks you like a 6 item Kog‘maw. 5 years later they just needed to buff AD TF to the point where he’s a viable ADC and top and they just leave it for weeks. I get that players are gonna test out an unfamiliar champ when it gets buffed and that excites them + sells skins. But do we have to have Maokai, Zac and Twisted Fate run soloq and pro for 3 months straight?

After 2.5 years my first pair of Raycons fell apart last week. Great timing on the sponsorship, just ordered my replacements! Saying Zwyroo played good in that Neeko game overall is crazy to me. He made at least 3 game losing plays but got carried to the win. If nameplates were off i wouldn't have known it wasn't perkz.

Its like how a new champion comes out, you find out during the game. Heck I would say more than half the time people have no idea what these new champs do even after watching the damn video..they have complicated the new champs. The old champs are simple and easy to understand
Everyone is on the same playing field with a new champ and have the same amount of time to master them. A veteran player can pull out an old champ they used to one trick 6+ years ago and gap a new player who has never played against this dated style of champion. I don't necessarily think this is unfair, as that veteran is using his experience as his advantage, but I do see the point they are making.

I think you guys are overestimating how difficult it is for new players to start playing. My wife started playing at the beginning of 2021, whereas I began in 2013, and she's had very little trouble remembering what champions do etc. She doesnt play PC games of any kind, but she loves league. If people like playing the game, they will learn it pretty easily. As far as getting new champions and skins for free, its actually the easiest its ever been. Yeah 164 champions or whatever the number sounds rough at first, but its really not unless you sit down and just start trying to memorize it all without ever playing. My wife is nailing it and she doesnt watch guides or anything, I help her and thats about it. My wife also loves watching the pro scenes too.

as far as the One tricks crying about their champ being locked for 2/3rds of the year, I honestly think the mass majority of people who are one tricks, (myself included) will more than likely just find 2 other champs to one trick during those other parts of the year. I think the feverish ones who will refuse to play the game if they cant play their one champion are much much fewer. i think the majority of people would just pick up 2 new champs and call it a day. "I one trick tryndamere in the spring, I one trick singed in the summer, and I one trick teemo in the winter :)" type vibes. That would be my expectation at least.

I think what makes playing for bot to counter Smolder is that theres grubs and support is allowed more gold to support the team allowing smolder to waveclear. Kill lanes would be the way to go but with other objectives there isnt enough time. There is a ridiculous power curve from 125 to 225 and he became my fastest lv7 champ. His waveclear is ridiculous he is a ad that can be let alone to stack. Q W R can all be used to be safe. He plays like an extreme ability caster with no use for aa besides fleet speed boosts. I do like playing him but rito loving the power dragon fantasy. 😂 Crit ads in theory should outscale due to the builds of smolder, and the inherent stacking of cdr. I do think at the moment samira is the only typical adc that just outright beats him within a kill lane.

He said multiple times hes 30 and not the best adc, he said he knows dodo doesnt like him because he didnt try hard in spring and his actions have consequences. The drama was the fact steve "allegedly" wanted doublelift and jojo. But dodo blocked it and ended up getting neither because dodo wanted to get his friends onto the roster. The real issue the disconnect between the owner and manager. If dodo isnt acting in steves best interest then hes not doing his job. Rotating sets of champions while appreciate as an abstract concept, would instantly kill the game. Even if you limited the sets to ranked or something, itd be horrible for everyone. This idea is only really cool if you almost exclusively watch and view the game.

I disagree with them saying that it would be unfair to the new players if an old champ is being played and them not knowing what it does. Its like how a new champion comes out, you find out during the game. Heck I would say more than half the time people have no idea what these new champs do even after watching the damn video..they have complicated the new champs. The old champs are simple and easy to understand
Everyone is on the same playing field with a new champ and have the same amount of time to master them. A veteran player can pull out an old champ they used to one trick 6+ years ago and gap a new player who has never played against this dated style of champion. I don't necessarily think this is unfair, as that veteran is using his experience as his advantage, but I do see the point they are making.

Riot seriously have a problem lately with releasing champions that are just overloaded and they rework them a trillion times, can't fix them and overnerf them. See Zeri, Ksante, Yuumi now Smolder... They just don't make sense in League of Legends with all the other champs.

I think you guys are overestimating how difficult it is for new players to start playing. My wife started playing at the beginning of 2021, whereas I began in 2013, and she's had very little trouble remembering what champions do etc. She doesnt play PC games of any kind, but she loves league. If people like playing the game, they will learn it pretty easily. As far as getting new champions and skins for free, its actually the easiest its ever been. Yeah 164 champions or whatever the number sounds rough at first, but its really not unless you sit down and just start trying to memorize it all without ever playing. My wife is nailing it and she doesnt watch guides or anything, I help her and thats about it. My wife also loves watching the pro scenes too.
And half the skills are just rehashes (which is fine) which makes it easy to at least know what a champion does if you play enough games.

as far as the One tricks crying about their champ being locked for 2/3rds of the year, I honestly think the mass majority of people who are one tricks, (myself included) will more than likely just find 2 other champs to one trick during those other parts of the year. I think the feverish ones who will refuse to play the game if they cant play their one champion are much much fewer. i think the majority of people would just pick up 2 new champs and call it a day. "I one trick tryndamere in the spring, I one trick singed in the summer, and I one trick teemo in the winter :)" type vibes. That would be my expectation at least.

I’m sort of a soft one trick where I just one trick a champ for a few months or sometimes a whole season, but then I switch it up and one trick something else that I really enjoy. Nasus is linear as is veigar, imagine if nasus gained range on his autos from hitting a certain number of stacks, it would be absurd. I think what makes playing for bot to counter Smolder is that theres grubs and support is allowed more gold to support the team allowing smolder to waveclear. Kill lanes would be the way to go but with other objectives there isnt enough time.

I usually agree with you guys but the doublelift section was very misinformed. He said multiple times hes 30 and not the best adc, he said he knows dodo doesnt like him because he didnt try hard in spring and his actions have consequences. The drama was the fact steve "allegedly" wanted doublelift and jojo. But dodo blocked it and ended up getting neither because dodo wanted to get his friends onto the roster. The real issue the disconnect between the owner and manager. If dodo isnt acting in steves best interest then hes not doing his job. There is a chance steve and dodo were on the same page which is why dodo isnt fired. But the drama isnt about doublelift thinking hes amazing.

Rotating sets of champions while appreciate as an abstract concept, would instantly kill the game. Even if you limited the sets to ranked or something, itd be horrible for everyone. This idea is only really cool if you almost exclusively watch and view the game.

As far as I know, Steve approached doublelift about joining liquid again which would suggest that he did in fact want him. Are you guys disputing that claim based on your behind the scenes knowledge? If so, would you please make that more clear? Otherwise it just sounds bad faith.
And how do you know, from doublelift? Also, it's good business when negotiating to have options to present to potential clients even if you have no intention of signing the options you are using for leverage.

If they’re clear or upfront about having insider knowledge that shows that doublelift is either lying or misrepresenting Steve approaching him Id be willing to believe that because thorin has great journalistic integrity and if he is reporting something it means he went through the process. But that’s not what happened here. Or at least they’re not making it clear that’s what it is. So until they do that, i believe doublelift.
