Ben, if you have expertise it would be fantastic to give the developers some feedback! You can put in feature requests directly on the Github here: github.com/IfcOpenShell/IfcOpenShell/issues And if you want to have a bit of a discussion around it you can do so here on the OSArch community page: community.osarch.org/discussions
little fast question : is there electricity management ? Or I just use the pipe for my drawings ? (I'm no professionnal at all, but would like to do something neat !) Thank you for those tutorials !
We are looking forward to the addition of various features. In the official documentation, Placing occurrences of an element type, Changing the locations of elements I hope it will be written soon.
If you have any expertise you are welcome to contribute (even if you just have a passion for finding these answers), the community is always looking for people to fill in holes in documentation! You can contribute directly on the Github here: github.com/IfcOpenShell/IfcOpenShell/issues Or ask questions here on the OSArch community forum: community.osarch.org/discussions
with this materials add on update, would i be able to export an IFC from revit, then apply a colour/material to cable tray systems to differentiate routes to the IFC to share?
I am not sure for exactly copying the example you've mentioned, but yes the Ifc beams use an Axis + profile to determine their shape it's very doable. If you have other general question the OSArch community is full of people including myself that can help: community.osarch.org/discussions
I'm looking forward to Pipe Tees being added.....we can't really create pipe networks without them....

Amazing, cool. Is it possible to automatically obtain the curved pipe length for a sheet of materials?
Hi Ivany, the length can be pulled from the quantity sets, so yes
Is there a telegram group, or a discord group about BlenderBIM?
Hi Pescador there is an online community you can join here:

Hi, yes you should be able to, set the colour as an Ifc style and it should show in most Ifc readers
a copy rotate 90 should be implimented to get away with the series of click.
Shift-R auto rotates by 90 degrees I think.
Can i create Object based on axis like the Bridge moduler from sofistik in Revit?
