Jermaine is so funny with his feet up and down - by the way is a GREAT singer just obscured by his brother, I mean with reason but not bad at all I love his voice too !
IKR!!!!! It's ABSOLUTELY is possible to be nostalgic for a time u didnt live through!! I thought I was the only disco/Motown/funk lover in her early 20's out there!!! Ahh to have been this age in the 70's...we missed out foreal!!!!
This is potentially my favorite J5 song! I really like Jermaine's part, his voice was really......nice to listen too ;) and it goes without saying that Michael Jackson was absolutely adorable. Is it possible to be nostalgic for a time I didn't live through? I'm just 20, but I KNOW I'm a Motown/ Disco queen!
Those are not wigs, back in the day most African Americans sported really large Afros, our hair was unfettered by products to make it look more Anglo and with the thickness and coarseness of our hair, it was easy to grow it and get it to do what the Jackson Five did with their hair, and by the way, they did not create the Afro nor did they make it popular. One of my pride and joys was my wearing my big round Afro to school in the fifth grade.
Jackie was recovering from an accident but joined the rest at their last Victory Tour concert in L.A. along with surprise appearances from Janet, Latoya and Robbie!!!
That's where it's at. Eighteen here, and I grew up on stuff like the J5, The Bee Gees, MJ, Earth, Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder and Jamiroquai. That's where music is at. :D
Michael knew his craft so well ... He could be out of dance sync /..And not look at his brother... And instantly get right back in dance move sync with them ..He was such a professional he was Intense !
@ujfalusik1 That's Jermaine, he did some solo stuff in the 70's like 'bass odyssey' and in the 80's like 'when the rain begins to fall', he had some success. He was the original lead singer of J5 and he leads on some of there songs.
I never knew Randy joined the group when they were on Motown. This is a great song that somehow slipped through the cracks. Thanks for sharing it with us.
mikey did something new and different to his usual afros... anyways he looks super cute and handsome whatever he does and whenever he does... HE IS THE KING
i looove michael's fro it's flippin awesome &the instruments the song&dancing is amazing...1:38"HA!"then the way he says "all you gotta dooo"...but jermaines coif is a lil funny..the mexico performance is just outta this world they sing live &dance even better&more precise
How did we go from this to the da** booty shaking music we have now??? I really miss this good up beat music.. rap and gangsta music is great but sometimes I think it's such a bad influence on our youth... SOME RAPPER OUT THERE BRING US AT LEAST ONE GOOD UP BEAT SONG LIKE THIS !! PLEASE :)
For being SO YOUNG back in the day, these kids were incredibly talented! Michael did most of the choreography for the group back then, and just look at their outfits! Answers the question about where Michael got his taste for flashy clothes and his original style! Hard to believe that a little tyke who loved to dance to the rhythms of the washing machine, because he felt the beat, would grow into the global mega superstar that he became! Michael WAS the music!!!
@hollywoodswinging79 thanks dude.awe I discovered also Rebbie Jackson did a good job too with Centipede and Yours faithfully. Unbelievable, how 1 family can be talented.
wow look at mike and his hair and if you look at randy's hair thats the way mikes use to be when he was like 11 10 or something i like and i like him thumbs up if u agree
Guys, which of MJ´s brother is the one in blue with guitar, who sings at 00:46?He has a nice voice, I am wondering if he did some solo recordings.... It is the first time I am watching MJ in the time of his boyhood... he truly was gifted in singing and dancing.
I love how even though michael does the spin move he still is somewhere always in time with the dance moves!
Their outfits make me so happy! And Michael's hair is awesome. I love how it bobs up and down when he dances. :D
We all wanted that hair when we were young. My fro was incredible.
Michael is soo cute...they all are with their poofy afro's.....you know what i miss the 70's!!
With the exception of Jermaine who's wearing a wig that boy could never grow fro like the others or like the others😂
J5 4ever and ever in my heart
Aww, 'tween Michael is so cute. :)
Love watching the Jackson brothers perform. Their choreography is always nice.
Jermaine is so funny with his feet up and down - by the way is a GREAT singer just obscured by his brother, I mean with reason but not bad at all I love his voice too !

Michael was such a cutie-pie! It's so unfortunate that he couldn't see the beauty that we all saw in him forever and for always.
You've dreamed of it? I've done it!lol :) Use to dance on this song since 2001 and still love it!!!!!!!!!
Michael knew his craft so well ... He could be out of dance sync /..And not look at his brother... And instantly get right back in dance move sync with them ..He was such a professional he was Intense !
