It took me several months to convince Cory to share the warehouse with everyone. Finally even though it is still evolving, we stopped by one night after the hardware store and I convinced him to do it. Hope you enjoy!
Cory really puts his soul and an insane amount of thought into everything, even the littlest of things, and it’s paying off tenfold. The hobby is so much better thanks to him and people like him 💙
I had no idea that Aquarium Co op was doing that much online buisness.happy to see it. Keep listening to Dean for all your fish keeping and buisness advice, lol. Glad to see him in such a good mood.
I’m a new aquarist and I have a massive list to buy from you once I’m ready! 40 breeder with all aquarium coop plants! I’m so excited!!! Cory you have given me such an amazing hobby!!!!
Awesome video Cory, it was a pleasure meeting you at Aquashella in Dallas. I appreciate you spending 30 minutes talking to me at my booth You’ve inspired me to grow my RUclips channel for African cichlids and a VERY interesting fish food challenge I’m doing!!!
I watched the FULL video & now I'm liking what I see & heard that has changed my thinking to start buying from your store than ebay cause I know where & how it's done. you have done a AMAZING service for the fish breeders in the US 👍 keep up the awesome work I watch ALL your videos in full length no matter HOW long they are or what they are about you have great info on a lot of things.
If you've already placed an order, you know that the Co op is unsurpassable in every way. Ppl shouldn't hesitate to shop w/ them. I consider it a win-win for what I get AND all the education Cory provides!
What I love about Aquarium Co-op, and have been loving Aquarium Co-Op ever since I watched the videos years ago, is the transparency about his business and hobby...honestly, if this place wasn't literally 12 hours half way around the world, I would literally spend hours in the Aquarium Co-Op fish store hahaha
Wow ! Congratulations! I have enjoyed watching your business grow the last 5 years. Your positivity is really refreshing. Your a great influence on our hobby.
It may not be everyone's favorite but it sure is mine. I love the explanation about logistics and business process design to support the best customer experience. Great job and thanks to Dean for prodding enough to get a share now. Awesome!
This is insane, it feels like just a few years ago that I had followed you guys, and a few years ago, buying from you guys; and look at you guys now, Cory, and co: a huge warehouse, a full transparency of the company, I'll tell you what, I'll be looking forward to (maybe, some day) where you are selling fish again, and shipping. I know it's always a tremendous effort, it's still a LFS, but I'm hoping for growth. Unfortunately for me, I'm all the way on the other side of the coast, or else I'd always be visiting your store. The next time I am in Seattle, I am definitely visiting you guys. Much love.
Wow Cory! This is an impressive operation! I’m blown away. I think it would be cool to have at least one display tank in the break/office area. I would really like it if I worked there.
Cory, your extended videos with Dean are some of the best must see entertainment on youtube. You guys just walk around conversing about the hobby and I find myself learning something new every time. Not to mention you both are very engaging personalities. More please!!
Great video. Thank you dean for dragging Cory Thur the warehouse. I think this video will help people understand the plants little better of what they want And expect how it’s going to grow. Again thank
Corey personally turned Dean into a plant person. Go back 3 years and Dean wants nothing to do with them. Now he's drooling over the stock the Co-op has. Love it!
Thank you Corey 💚 for all your free advice, your dedication for running your business the right way - so much integrity. I've made two orders from you in the past month and I'm excited to recieve my Easy Green and plants! In a couple weeks after my plants show they're doing well I can get some fish.
Made the trip from South Tacoma its about an hour and fifteen but was worth it and I even found some cichlids I have been looking for, can you believe it?!
I just purchased some plants from you guys. It’s nice to see the level of care you guys go through to ensure the highest quality! I’m new to aquariums and very new to live plants. I’m replacing my fake plants so it looks more natural and to help keep my aquarium healthier.
Please design a reliable aquarium heater. In the past year I’ve had Eheim, Aqueon, Cobalt and Fluval all fail in my fish room. Help Obi-Cory, you’re our only hope!
We are working on it, but it's tough. Part of it is gonna be a big part in education of hobbyists. The first problem is people not letting their aquariums fluctuate. Using a high wattage heater to maintain 78 degrees at all times, is a constant on/off cycle. Heaters boasting within 0.2 degree accuracy should be seen with a question not as a good thing. Electronics get the most stress from turning on and off, If you flip a light switch over and over again, the bulb will fail much faster than one that is only switched once a day. If hobbyists were to use say a 100 watt heater instead of 300 watt heater. It would turn off and on a lot less. Much less than 3x as much. Then work on keeping heat in the aquarium with glass tops and using other equipment to supplement the heat. Then choose a heater with a fluctuation of say 3 degrees. Thus if set to 78, it would turn on at 75, and turn off at say 81. This would lead to a much longer cycle time of it being on, and it being off. Currently until the education is there, companies can't really make a heater that will do this as it won't sell without the education part. We use the same mechanisms really in our house heaters, they just cycle a lot less than aquarium heaters. Often times a simple space heater will last for many many years. But we also tend to only have them turn on and off maybe a couple of times a day really as we are trying to save money and not loose heat etc.
Aquarium Co-Op I use heater controllers on all my pleco tanks with a +/- 2 degrees variance, so fewer on-off cycles. Maybe I’ll bump to 3 degrees. Nevertheless, the current heaters on the market are mostly junk and all brands noted in OP have failed. Just buy the plans for the old Ebo-Jager before Eheim bought that brand and lowered the quality. Ebo-Jagers even came in the Aquarium Co-op green. 😉👍. Hope to see you back in Minnesota again some day.
@@AquariumCoop That's not true. I'm a BSEE. The problem with heaters is getting the heat through the glass. Glass isn't a great conductor so a large temperature difference is required for the heat flow. Switching it on and off less has nothing to do with the root cause of failure. An ideal aquarium heater would be low voltage (safe to expose to water) up to 36 VDC and high current. This requires large wires and power supply which is cost preventative but in the long run allows the longest life and allows a heater to be placed directly in the water.
Ive been following you for less than a year. I can't believe how big you've become. I wish you well Bro! Which by the way You are so lucky to have Dean on your side, He's another insane wealth of information. God bless you all involved.
Finally had the time to watch the whole video. Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year to Dean, Cory, Jimmy, basically everyone at the co op who make every effort to make the hobby what it is. Here to a very prosperous 2020!
I have learned so much from you guys. Thanks for all of your hard work. I recieved my first order a few weeks ago, I'll definitely be a loyal customer. Happy Holidays!
It's always a real pleasure listening to you two talking about what would work. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing your content with us. Well done.
you need to show it off Cory, you should be proud of all your hardwork and Deans too! you guys produce quality and that is something to be proud of. i wished i lived closer to you guys.
Nice tour and great to see the update from the original before the tanks were finished. I respect how you always think about the employees and how it will be working there, not only from a safety standpoint but from a human one. Great job! Cheers, Sandra
It's soo impressive everything that Cory and aquarium co-op do to improve the hobby and the experience. I love the high quality standard and how they stand behind all their products and the customer experience 100%! The reusable thermal bags are soo considerate not only to the customer but to the enviornment. Thank you for always striving to DO BETTER!!! INDEED YOU DO, DO BETTER!
Thanks so much for making this video! I really appreciate the fact that you’re properly transitioning the aquarium plants from emmersed to submersed form before selling to customers! Really tired of buying plants online only to see them melt when they are placed in my tank! And the fact that you have the proper lighting, co2, liquid ferts means I’m sure to receive healthy plants! My next plant purchase will definitely be from Aquarium Coop!
Amazing facility and company: I’m new fish keeper and I’ve learned so much thanks to Cory and all the content that’s put out. Can’t love this vdo enough. Great job guys!!!
I've said it before but I think it's worth saying again...I had never bought ANYTHING online before finding Aquarium co-op on RUclips...I'm not computer literate and prefer to touch and see what I'm buying... after watching Cory on RUclips, I decided to pull the trigger and get some of the best sponge filters on earth, and that's exactly my opinion of them... also their Easy Green is the BEST liquid fertilizer as well as their root tabs...! I'm now ordering from them at least once a month, became a member for the 5% off and is paid for itself monthly...! I'd have to say everything I've heard about this company is great and they definitely live up to their promises...! Also, best customer service I've ever dealt with...! Keep up your awesomeness Cory and gang and keep the GREAT products coming...! Love what y'all are doing for the greatest hobby there is...! Go enjoy the nature around you...!!!
One thing about those USB pumps, careful removing air hose. The little output can snap off and then you're sunk. However, I ADORE them....so quiet, I use a USB hub so no overdone power strips....just use some care with removing air lines..... P.S. Fantastic video...will order some stuff as soon as Santa Claus comes....
I have already been a big time fan since getting back into Aquarium keeping, but hearing Cory talk about his low tolerance for mistakes, and how he plans on fixing them makes me want to support him and his business even more than before.
I've only just got my first couple small tanks, nothing planted yet. I'm only like 2 months into this hobby and I can already tell what you guys are doing is amazing. Such quality control and care and application of knowledge. It looks like you created exactly what you wanted/needed to supply the kind of things you yourself would want to buy. I am seriously impressed.
Your system is definitely working. I placed an order, (a little worried about the weather bevause of live plants and freezing temps). My order shipped within hours. I had also placed orders with 2 of your competitors. I placed those other orders 2 or 3 days earlier, but yours was the first to be processed, first to ship and first to arrive!
This video just makes me want to continue buying from you. You clearly care about quality care of your plants/products and customer service and that means a lot.
Beautful and well thought out. Between this and @tidalgardens I just love the passion and environmental thoughtfulness being put into the warehousing of aquatic ornamental life.
Great Video, amazing business growth, one slight criticism is it's easier to move a "Use Next" sticker from bottom tank to top, than trays of plants. But I am sure you will continue to review and improve the efficiency of every step, as you have done for many years. I wish you all the success in your Business Cory.
This is awesome! I've watched you grow so much over the last few years, and seeing how far you've come is just amazing. You're content is wonderfully helpful, your business is doing great and I cant wait to see what happens in the future!
Hi cory and dean I have to say cory what an awesome job you doing with your company. The products are awesome your prices are great. I love ordering from you guys. I never order stuff online before I seen you on you tube and I look up your store and I place a order. I still use easy green and your root tabs they are great products.
I appreciate the video tour, your setup and plants look Amazing. I'm impressed with the plant quality and your ideology of growing them out. I definitely will start buying my plants from you. Thank you.
Kasper Aquatics You won't be disappointed! Healthy plants, impressively packaged and shipped promptly. My only problem is they're often sold out by the time I decide what I want! And oh, definitely consider his Easy Green line of products for successful continued plant survival and growth!
I straight up wouldn't have started keeping fish again after a seven year break if it weren't for Cory. Now I'm 11 tanks in with five more on the way after less than two years back in, and keeping fish I only ever dreamed about my first time. Much of my new success is thanks to the plants I keep, and without Cory and the Aquarium Co-Op easy green, I would never had experimented with them.
I do like this video I love the videos when you and Dean are together and doing videos they're great and I love the fact that you have put in a new Warehouse with all those beautiful plants in it
So many people do not realize how big of a capital investment (the amount of money spent on the equipment, supplies, rent on all that space, electricity, etc.) is required by Aquarium Co-op or any business to operate. Cory does a great job explaining this.
@@deansfishroom Agreed. I've been in the hobby for 50 years and to say I have seen a lot, good and bad. Cory's attitude towards customer service is the one of the best I've seen. Not many business owners are willing to go that distance to take care of customer issues.
Cory very impressed will Warehouse operations lot of innovation ideas. Wished you store was closer to Atlanta. I really like you managing principles to keep customers happy and returning and willingness to pull an item if it starts to have problems. I would feel confident to buy products for the hobby, but have got of the hobby back about 30+ years but I watch your video and rethinking about starting up but if I do I want bigger tanks. I use to have 5, 10, 20, and 29 gallon tanks at one time 26 tanks in all, salt and fresh water. Moved and had it in storage becaused I moved and somebody broke in and stole it all and never replaced it. cost has been prohibited for me as even a basic 40 gallon aquarium with setup is about 400 to 500 dollars without the fish. Even the petco 1 dollar a gallon sales but the tank is only a small portion of the total success, as I do like natural tanks live plants and hardscape. So before I woul our one fish in I would want all that set up and and addition tank for quarantine ready to go. That what I did when I first started and I had wonderful success. I used dynaflow HOB filters and under gravel. Never had problems fish spawned regularly and traded the babies for more equipment and supplies. Even work PT in a fish store traded hours for merchandise. But after the move everything changed it broke my heart after it was all stolen. Got off the subject a little but I am glad to see you have integrity and care for you people the animals and your customers impressive this day in time. Don't see that to often in business anymore. Merry Christmas to aquarium Co-Op a yourself and Dean and I will be watching. Hope you out grow your Warehouse very soon.
I have always watched Aquarium Co-op videos and then just ordered the products off of Amazon. Having watched this video I’ll never make that mistake again. Placing my first order tonight.
When I saw those liners I was like o sweet but I'm in south Florida it doesn't get to cold but when Dean said frozen food, that is something that I need! I have to travel about 20-30 min with melting frozen food and live black worms and in the summer time I've lost everything because of how hot it is.
One thing that I can say about Cory's work ethic is that he has given an arm and a leg worth of work over the years to grow and have the type of customer that knows this man has good integrity. It is solid integrity and sometimes when I see people selling stuff and I kinda have that uneasy feeling that leaves me wondering if it's a sales pitch or just bs. Atleast I feel with Corey and his business you just know you can trust and if something doesn't work out you know he will replace that. That my friend is hard to find now a days.
I've been watching your channel for a very long time now, it's amazing what you and your team have accomplished, in the UK where I live we don't have a big independent aquarium store like yours as far as I know? I wish we did! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
After watching this video i ended up at the online store and spent 100 bucks on live plants. loved the quality i seen on this video of your plants. Not something i see around the local stores here, i cant wait to get them in tomorrow!
Wow Very impressed with this Tour. I have only bought two of the Java on wood but was very very happy with that. I’m going to buy more plants from aquarium co-op. It’s amazing the work and care you put in to the plants. Hopefully you start selling fish online.
*Want to get started with aquarium plants? Check out beginner planted tank series: **geni.us/PlantTutorials*
Can you please start selling your sponge filters to Europe 😭😭😭😭😭 😭 impossible to find anything like yours in UK
hi cory are you looking at selling /shipping to the uk in the future.
I'm so happy to see how well you are doing! Thank you and keep up the hard work!
Sweet!🤘
Wow, really nicely organized warehouse. I want to work one day here supporting staff to pack these amazing plants :)
It took me several months to convince Cory to share the warehouse with everyone. Finally even though it is still evolving, we stopped by one night after the hardware store and I convinced him to do it. Hope you enjoy!
Honestly it's amazing to see
Thank you, Dean! It's truly awesome!
Great tour! I'm hoping to see duel sponge filters from Aquarium co op one day. Aquarium co op sponge filters are the best so is Easy Green.
Dean your like a kid in a candy store! Your enthusiasm is contagious. Great video!!
Thankyou!
I love how proud Dean is of what Cory has done #TrueFriend
Cory really puts his soul and an insane amount of thought into everything, even the littlest of things, and it’s paying off tenfold. The hobby is so much better thanks to him and people like him 💙
I agree!
Dude, that’s some money. Having worked in logistics, that’s a legit operation and some serious investment
I had no idea that Aquarium Co op was doing that much online buisness.happy to see it. Keep listening to Dean for all your fish keeping and buisness advice, lol. Glad to see him in such a good mood.
It’s so cool to hear the back story between you and Dean. Also awesome to see you always growing and evolving

Thank You Guys for sharing this was awesome.
The auto-feeder I bought since you first launched it is still working great including with the factory battery that came with it.
Yeah, the ones that aren't defective are great. It's just the ones that are basically DOA need to be replaced.
Great customer service with that issue! Thanks!
Great work Cory! I'm impressed of your warehouse and I love your over all business model 👍🏻
Dean is excited for you and your passion comes through, I love seeing you
It is fun to watch the success!
And oh, definitely consider his Easy Green line of products for successful continued plant survival and growth!
v blackwell, Thank you. I appreciate the input.
Yes! Another video with @Deansfishroom! I Always love to see his great attitude and cool pro tips. Thanks Dean and Cory!
Meanwhile, here I am in the north of Sweden, wishing I lived close to Aquarium Co-op... 😭
Svalbard?
Me too!!!
Fantastic BTS video. Would love to see more of this. Greetings from Switzerland!
The warehouse looks so awesome, Thanks for the tour!
Glad you guys are doing well. wish we had someone like you guys in australia
I do like this video I love the videos when you and Dean are together and doing videos they're great and I love the fact that you have put in a new Warehouse with all those beautiful plants in it
Very cool Cory! I’m impressed with what you and your team have done over the years.
I've been watching you for some time and am impressed with your business sense. Great job, Cory
Loving how many people are super surprised at how big it is. I bet cory loves the pitter patter of the picker packers.
So many people do not realize how big of a capital investment (the amount of money spent on the equipment, supplies, rent on all that space, electricity, etc.) is required by Aquarium Co-op or any business to operate. Cory does a great job explaining this.
It's a large chunk of change!
Thanks for the tour! ☃️
those annubias in small terracotta posts are really cute
Great video. I've been wanting to see the warehouse for the longest time.
You can really feel the pride in Dean. Serious business goals, keep up the great work!
Thanks Dean for getting this out there
I have always watched Aquarium Co-op videos and then just ordered the products off of Amazon.
I love seeing the joy on Dean's face. This is great!
Great video. Lots of respect for the two of you...
I've been watching your channel for a very long time now, it's amazing what you and your team have accomplished, in the UK where I live we don't have a big independent aquarium store like yours as far as I know? I wish we did! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great product organization & ease of flow for efficient shipping. Very nice. 👍
Very impressive operation! Thanks for sharing!
I’m definitely going to have to watch this in its entirety!
Ok this looks well organized and easy to work at.
Of course you do. . .
Making my first purchase from you RIGHT NOW! Warehouse is amazing man! I'm going to make a trip up from the warmth of Florida to come see your world!
Holy crap Corey, the warehouse is amazing! Great job to everyone
Wow! Incredible warehouse operation!
