I really like both franchises! I'm a casual, mostly playing offline, but I still love them both. They share the similarities that make me enjoy 3D fighters a lot more than 2D, but still play significantly different to stand out. I played the classics VF and Tekken recently, and I could not finish Tekken 1 and 2, and VF 1 and 2 more than once. They did not age well. But VF 3 and Tekken 3, they are still really fun to play. They are the first iterations that became real 3D fighter (side steps). I had a lot of fun playing 3s and 4s from both series again. VF4 Evo quest mode is super fun!
I grew up playing both from the very first one. They are different. Personally I actually don't like the direction Tekken is taking with Anime Dragon Ball style story, and all the extra stuff like rage, rage art, and now this rush thing in T8. But I still like both game series alot. I actually play Tekken more.
Fan of both series, grew up playing them both since their first iterations, and while I LIKE Tekken, I LOVE VF, and yea VF2 was really the game that cemented my love of the series. That game completely blew me away when I first saw it in the arcade in 1994, my 8 year old mind was blown.
I owned virtua fighter and virtua kids on the Saturn and played kids a lot. I didn't win on virtua 5 on hardest like I used to on the original installment but it's still in interesting series.

i think generally this tierlist was very cool except i think disliking p4au because of the one button DP is a kinda invalid criticism considering how much you play modern on sf6, maybe these days you might be a bit more open to a mechanic like that?
Real Bout 2 is extremely underrated, I think it may have released around the same time as Garou/Third Strike so it got lost among that but it's probably the best of the Fatal Fury games. It's well worth checking out.
I absolutely loved it because I’ve always loved the Tekken universe, story and characters but just never as good at its gameplay mechanics as SF. It gave the best of both worlds. Consequently Tekken 7 really sucked me in with Akuma and Geese because I knew their moves to heart.
Capcom's monetization killed the game, i wanted to try it when it was released but as soon as i heard about p2w power ups in a FIGHTING GAME i skipped it completely
@@themrfelipe6005 it’s weird how the gems controversy just killed the game for good with no chance for redemption but SF5 bounced back from being a barebones release.
It hurts when KoF 2001 gets no love. I know it's not the best but it holds such a special place in my heart because of where I was in my life when I was first playing it.
Great list it’s not surprising though since Justin has been a part of almost every generation of fighting games Put a lot of classics at the top from ttt1 to melee to garou to cvs2 I love it
The first ever fighting game I took serious was SF6, the grind of learning and polishing always felt daunting to me. So a game who is able to take me out of my confort zone and make me push myself is amazing.
My first ever fighting game that i took seriously was Guilty Gear Strive, i had never played a traditional fighting game and pressing /d-pad up/ to jump was so weird compared to brawlhalla(platform fighter) were you press /jump button/ instead.Seeing new people play the game and failing at the same stuff i did like unusual inputs, and understanding numpad, that now seem like second nature to me now just puts into perspective how far i’ve come. Amazing
i thought that, too, but realistically... same tier as Tekken Tag? Tekken 3 was perfect for its time, but Tag was so much better it sorta made 3 inferior.
Smash Bros. Brawl still has a soft spot in my heart for being my first ssb. I will forever miss the subspace emissary, they had such a great chance to create enemies that require you to use game mechanics that could work for online but they didn't. Anyways great tier list.
Even if its your first super smash, how the hell can you enjoy randomly tripping only to get smashed away? With the few broken characters and broken mechanism they have, the game was obviously imbalanced as-well.
Its actually very fucking fun to lab in, I just wish there was more characters, but 2d fighters with an actual art team behind it makes it slow to make new stuff since animation takes long to do
Overall, a VERY respectable list!! I’m just happy to see Tatsunoko and literally *ANY* DOA game between 1 and Dimensions getting some proper respect, lol. Also, it wasn’t on the list, but shoutout to Bleach: the Blade of Fate. That game is GOATED for what it managed to pull off in 2006/2007 on the original DS!!
I think Tekken 4 should be a bit higher because they improved Tekken Force and experimented with stages that had stairs and ceilings. After playing a few DOA games I kinda grew to appreciate what Tekken 4 was going for.
Tekken 4 is still really fun! Not only the atmosphere, the stages and the revamped Tekken force a good. But the gameplay is solid, where poking, spacing and punishing are so much more important than long combos. I liked it for this.
I actually hated T5 because of how far advanced T4 seemed. Looking back, I see how 5's the fairer game competitively, but I still hate the flat stages, the floors that break with EVERY fall, the lack of character physics (like T4's hair), and....Jinpachi. Vanilla Jinpachi. Ugh! I'd MUCH RATHER play against wedgie Heihachi any day!
I appreciate the fact that he put Melee under GOAT status. Even if you don't consider melee a fighting game like he said, high level melee is some of the greatest shit to watch.
@@ramburgervalentine7621does he have any videos where he explains why? He put out a video 3 years ago literally telling everyone they should buy it ruclips.net/video/pqtNFRKTG_0/видео.htmlsi=EIU3pbuoU38TK9D5
I think SFxT is an unexplored game. Too many people were playing it like SF4, and by the time you got to the Coolkids and Zombie Diver (Driver?) and the RnK guys it was too late. Anyway, solid list. I wish I can get my hands on Tatsunoko vs Capcom. That's one game I wish was never locked to the Wii because it's stuck in limbo and I'd love to see what I could come up with, with some of those characters
It's weird how Brawlhalla doesn't get much attention when it has 100 million players with 20million monthly players (crossplay). Insanely good tournament entries online and LAN, massive prize pools, consistent developer support, extremely active community. It's not nearly as recognized as Smash (it does not have the massive legacy or storied history of it), but it deserves some praise imo. It's different from Smash in basically every way but the genre. People are very quick to discount it without giving it a serious try and how good high level competitive play is. Also one of the most balanced fighting games ever.
When i first tried brawlhalla, I got the impression that it was super floaty and the gameplay didn’t seem very well put together. But the game has a lot of movement mechanics such as dash, dash jump, chase dodging, gravity cancels and more that make it in my opinion one of the most fast paced and skill based platform fighters.
@@АндрёйКотов-х5й Brawlhalla works and survives because it has a unique form of combat with the weapons system, like you said it has a massive esports scene. Yes it is floaty but the dash and gravity cancel mechanics make it so it feels fast and allows you to take advantage of being in the air. It survives on being different than smash or other platform fighters
If it doesn’t get that much attention with 20 million monthly players, then a large number of those players are probably bots. Smaller platform fighters still get attention within the smash scene like rivals and NASB because platform fighter players like platform fighters, but nobody talks about brawlhalla because nobody actually plays it
Smash Melee is literally the only fighting game I pick back up as a secondary game. Although SF6 is my main game, nothing scratches that weird Melee Captain Falcon itch, it's so free flow. What games do you know that are played competitively 23 years in a row? There is really nothing like it.
It really depends on what the player is generally looking for in a fighting game honestly. Also, some games that were bad before wind up super sick in the future.
Cool list, but sucks to see the hate on KoF2001. I got that on my PS2 in a combo along with 2000 and it was the first time I truly tried to learn the intricacies of a fighting game instead of just button mashing. It really cemented the fighting genre as my favorite in all of gaming.
Out of all the fighting games I’ve played (Skullgirls, sf6, ssbu, ggst, dbzf), my favorite is Guilty Gear Strive, but I get why some people dont like it
All good, but *Tekken 3* should be GOAT, cuz I know sooooo many people that never play fighting games...but they played Tekken 3 "oh yeah I remember being so good with Eddy Gordo" so...ya know, it's the fighting game every gamer has played and has fond memories of, if that ain't legendary, I don't know what is. Oh ya know what, Waku Waku 7 is a nice fighting game :D
Justin my man if you haven't really given Virtua Fighter before 5 a go, I bet you'd find some quirky stuff in VF3tb, the one with uneven arenas on stairs & rooftops etc.
Thanks a lot for making an idea video like this its like a recommendation games even if your not a champion of gaming or you are, i still think you got the best content dude and imma check all the amazing experience games youve played
I think Tekken 4 is underrated and one of the best in the series. It didn’t land with everyone but the risks it took were interesting and I’d love to see more of the environmental stuff in stages come back. It made things interesting at least and wasn’t just about long ass boring juggle combos.
Fatal Fury 1 - one of the most innovative out there - it had a tag team system, where 2 players could gang up against the CPU and after that fight, they had to fight each other. It had a solid story behind that fighting, catchy tunes and it started the legend of the lone wolf... of Southtown. It's my first fighting game too... so always have a soft spot for both Fatal Fury 1 and Street Fighter 2 World Warrior... you have no freakin idea how popular SF2 WW was back then... like they even made an infamous HK cantonese flik starring Aaron Kwok and Andy Lau after SF2 WW...! And the first Fatal Fury was called... King of FIghters!!! Both these games should have been GOAT status dude.
I'll do it for him. The game is mediocre. It does nothing that anime fighters have not done a million times. It limits you severely. The game focuses on neutral and does that horrible. When Guilty Gear fighting games were built, they were built from the ground up and from learning. Each change from game to game had a function/purpose. STRIVE doesn't do that. It is mindless in it's approach and clearly, they have no idea what they're doing. For example: The hitbox size of moves in STRIVE have been increased while the movement/speed/pacing of the game have been lowered. This makes absolutely no sense and is unintelligent. The reason the hitboxes and moves were so ridiculous in XX and XRD was because of the extreme movement in those games. It was because you can be evasive and avoid them. The game just tries it's best to pander for being mindless "fun" if you can even call it that. Then it focuses on imho one of the worst aspects of anime fighters. You hit someone, combo them for half health. That's the game! Have fun :B To top it off, every weird/odd person got abandoned from what they enjoyed while these clowns say "STOP HATING WHAT WE LIKE!" after robbing said fanbase who was loyal to the series simply for enjoying it.
I agree with most but can't get down with MK11 and Injustice 2 getting swatted like that 😂 loved those games, personally - the MTs notwithstanding, I had a lot of fun with em. BUT to each their own, obvi 🤘 Fun video as always, Justin!

Somehow, my heart melted when you said X Tekken was a good game. I really think people hated on this game way too fast. It was a real fun game and I wish it stayed longer at tournament, just to see 2 players against 2 players, that was really fun to see great players teamed up.
I'm really hoping that UNI 2 can manage to retain at least some of the playerbase that Type Lumina lost. On one hand, UNI doesn't have the Type-Moon branding to lean on or Melty's history as a champion among underdogs. On the other, its own history is nothing to sneeze at either, the game has ASW backing it as publisher and there are no controversial mechanics like Type Lumina's shield system that may drive people away, Plus, I'd wager most people who have even a passing interest in Melty knows that UNI is French Bread's spiritual successor, so some of Melty's niche popularity is bound to rub off. I guess it all comes down to how good the Rollback implementation is. ASW has plenty of experience in that department and FB did a decent enough job with Type Lumina, so I hope it starts off without any major hiccups like KOF XV had the misfortune of running into...
@CrimsonMoonM I'm disappointed UNI 2's not coming to Xbox, so Type Lumina & Blazblue Cross Tag will be all Xbox owners have in this department. It's unfortunate Type Lumina doesn't have crossplay either.
The problem with mb and uni2 is that they are just too expensive for the kind of game they are Yes mb tl looks visually stunning but its still mb, and uni2 is still just uni ; A part of the appeal of those games was imo that you could get them for cheap, and i suspect a lot of people who weren’t already fans wont want to pay full price for them
Been quite indecisive about buying MK1 there's just soo many ppl saying a lot of bad things about it and not worth it in general but hearing this guy say it's quite good is very useful tbh I think I might buy it (winter sale 50% off atm) and put time into it to get good
It will be even cheaper in April, if you are willing to hold out. In general NS tends to sell MK games cheaply after some time, example check MK9,10,11 prices when on sale. Honestly, I dont think MK1 its that good. The story was meh from the beginning & that led to a lot of people's interest waning off. However, since you seem to want MK1 to play ranked as well, then it might be better to play it now, before the DLCs hit & you regret your choice.
I personally really like mk1. However, people have a right to be pissed off. On PC it doesn't run for some( a lot) of people and there are a lot of bugs there. There are also a lot of micro transactions that piss people off like some of the fatalities have to be purchased etc. some of the seasonal costumes are very ugly. The single player aspect is not great either but I don't play fighters for single player. The game also launched with connection issues that affected both console and PC and they patched it but sometimes still has some issues there. I don't care for some of the dlc characters. So that's a lot of negatives I wrote. And they are kinda big negatives. Positives: I actually really liked the story up until the last act. The actual gameplay is awesome. I think the levels and graphics and art style are awesome. Music is good. I like the roster.
Soul Calibur II was definitely a sleeper. I had so much fun playing that game that I neglected to play Tekken for local tournaments hahaha. And it was newbie friendly too. No air juggles makes it acessible
I was curious about what you thought about Soul Edge. I thought the weapon durability system was interesting and it kinda has a similar in game function to the drive gauge in sf6, where blocking for too long will cause you to take chip, as well as being able to burn it for more damage. Its been a long time since i played it on PS1 but I remember enjoying it a lot. Not as much as SC2 of course...
word, I forgot about that game cuz it was on PS1 but it was a solid precursor to soul calibur. Cervantes crew! (...or Mitsurugi) I think Bloody Roar would've been fun to see, but it felt a bit unbalanced. Also did I miss Children of the Atom, XvSF and MvSF? ...I know Infinite was trash.
@@Rob165x He put XvsSF and MvSF in really fricking amazing and good respectively from what I can see. He commited heresy by putting COTA in trash (alongside SamSho 1!).
Was satisfied until he put T7 next to T6. T7 has dominated and carried the FGC for the last THREE years in a row. Its the greatest Tekken game of all time as far as gameplay goes. And, T8 is looking like it might top that. Anyway, W Melee 🐐👑
If you put MK1 in A+, I think SF6 should be S. Both in the same tier is just wrong. JWong was probably very tired at the end of the video, so that's probably why he didn't notice that issue
Did you not listen to what he said? He said it's too early to put it in GOAT tier and he's right. It's an amazing game hands down, but let's see if this holds up for a few years (which it probably will) before giving it GOAT status.
MK1 has great gameplay. It's weak in other areas, but JW seems to be exclusively talking about gameplay. I really doubt he misplaced MK1 or SF6 as he knows that's what people came to see. His take is the mainstream take of FGC generalist (people who play both NRS and Capcom).
this tier list is TOP BUT ALSO VERY HOT, in the end of the day people just like diffrent stuff, there is soo many fighting games out there, there is 1 for anyone i feel
I am about having a denial about strive being fun, I feel so much better seeing you put it in trash makes me realize maybe my inner instinct suspicions were always correct. Strive is a coin toss 2hit simulator, or 30 second defense simulator with obscure visually impairing frame traps it's really frustrating when you play other games well, and Strive cuts that out as an option and forces unfun unreactable mix ups
As a long time fan of Guilty Gear since GGX I agree that Strive is trash tier. The game barely feels like GG and I got bored of it before they even starting releasing dlc.
Strive is simply badly designed game and theres a reason fanbase of it are smash players and people who didnt liked fighting games before/got into them with it. Strive wasnt even designed as GG game it was first thing both Katano and Daisuke said during interview at TGS back in 2019 and they also said game is designed in a way to bring in people who dont like fighting games not newcomers to series or genre but actually for people who never liked genre before and it shows. Fact is that they achieved their design goal and its a success but to anyone even not old GG fans but simply fighting genre enjoyers that game is just trash.
That was masterful trolling with that Ultra SF2 thumbnail😂 Curious on your thoughts about HD Remix. Seems like the only people who hate it are those whose Balrog or Dhalsim got nerfed from the broken original versions. I personally love it. Probably because my main got buffed. 😂

Seems like a couple people persuaded him, I personally never seen him stream MKX or ki 2013 but since he hangs and does a podcast with maximillian dood who lives both those games, all of a sudden he has those games at goat status. Big fan of Justin Wong but this tier list honestly doesn’t seem too authentic to me
he can't be objectively wrong because it's an opinion, and you should really calm your shit bc both games need more time to mature before we can come to a real verdict on them. sad case but thats how most games are now.
The disrespect of Tekken 4 has to stop. The aesthetic, the best/darkest story of the franchise. The only downside was the uneven stages, because Tekken 5 was broken too especially Steve Fox. Virtua fighter 2,3,4,5 needs to be all in the GOAT status. 4 has the best tutorial in any fighting game.
I love T4 so much but It was madly broken, but it did set up so many unique stage elements that I wish was an option to turn on in future games. Just going to training mode to find all parts of the stage is so fun
Tekken 4 had some good things going for it, but it will never live up to the glory of 5, 5 revitalized the franchise, 4 just lacked so much polish compared to its predecessors and successors. Still fun, though, but it wasn't that good.
While most of us agree with your points on Tekken 4, its just a bad fighting game. Its a great game, one of the best Tekken games but horrendous fighting game. T5 might be broken but it is still has good fighting game mechanics that the games after it made T5 as their defacto basis until now.
Thanks for putting strive low, it took away alot of fun stuff just to cater to casuals. It makes every match look the same when watching and I really hope it decides to add deeper mechanics to it

There are so many characters in SfxT that I just feel were so cool and fun play style wise that I fear we will never get again in a cap on game
I absolutely loved it because I’ve always loved the Tekken universe, story and characters but just never as good at its gameplay mechanics as SF. It gave the best of both worlds. Consequently Tekken 7 really sucked me in with Akuma and Geese because I knew their moves to heart.
SFxT 2v2 mode is too fun.
Capcom's monetization killed the game, i wanted to try it when it was released but as soon as i heard about p2w power ups in a FIGHTING GAME i skipped it completely

So glad you speak up about how good mkx is. Its seriously the best mk game ever and no one can stop shilling for long enough to admit it
even now lol.
@@ri_c_e yeah seriously
I'm surprised Justin likes Melee that much, or respects it that much.
He is a pro player and melee is one of the most competitive fighting game of all time, not surprising at all.
I love videos like this, I suggest showing game footage for those who haven't played
It hurts when KoF 2001 gets no love. I know it's not the best but it holds such a special place in my heart because of where I was in my life when I was first playing it.
Great list it’s not surprising though since Justin has been a part of almost every generation of fighting games
Put a lot of classics at the top from ttt1 to melee to garou to cvs2 I love it
The first ever fighting game I took serious was SF6, the grind of learning and polishing always felt daunting to me.
Amazing
thats recent bro , this list aint really for u then unless u wanna play these old games
@@crazyilahmah707 In Brawlhalla you can change your controls you know, I have up for jump and it's good that Strive has that too
U must be 15 lol
I'm glad to finally see CvS2 at the top of a tier list
I'm just happy Justin said Street Fighter 4 is goated. It's my favorite for sure. The amount of hours I spent on that game.
i'm still playing this game, Street Fighter 3rd strike and Super Street Figher Iv never dies
All the people who still play SF4 are killers.
Knowing Capcom I'm pretty confident with the adjustments they'll make for SF6. Pretty sure it'll be worthy of GOAT status by next year.
Where’s bloody roar, dark stalkers, pocket fighter, battle arena toshiden, star gladiator/plasma sword, rival schools etc etc
This is a rubbish tier list, No EX 1,2,3? World Heroes????? Double Dragon???? Breakers?????? Tekken 3 above Super Turbo??????
Man glad you put Melee in GOAT! Favorite game of all time
Tekken 3 belongs in GOAT status
i thought that, too, but realistically... same tier as Tekken Tag? Tekken 3 was perfect for its time, but Tag was so much better it sorta made 3 inferior.
Ikr
Agree before online play I practiced every character for hours and knew all the optimal combos. And tekken ball! That was the funnest shieet
As a Tekken player, I'd put T3, TTT1, and T7 all in GOAT status, along with T5. All for very different reasons, too.
SFxT is super underrated. It's such a good game. I wish there was an easy way to play it and that it still had a good scene.
Can we see a tier list of most balanced fighting games?
Ssb is way better than ultimate
@@RealBigDeal22It was his first smash. He wasn't worried about being all hyper competitive with it. Most people still don't play smash competitively.
@@Baltic_Dude😂
Ssb was and still is, the best smash game for singleplayer content
Its also the best game for team games imo
SF2 World Warrior caused the fighting genre to blow up. That is my first obsession.
Love these, still wish I knew your thoughts on Them Fightin Herds
Its actually very fucking fun to lab in, I just wish there was more characters, but 2d fighters with an actual art team behind it makes it slow to make new stuff since animation takes long to do
I thought they canned tht game? I read tht somewhere yesterday when seeing what tht game is@sourthecat
Blade of Fate was busted af. Kenpachi could just teleport spam to stall the game. The game desperately needed air throws.
@grandsquanchrum Absolutely it was busted, but it was FUN busted, like basically every MvC game!! XD
I agree.
I actually hated T5 because of how far advanced T4 seemed.
Looking back, I see how 5's the fairer game competitively, but I still hate the flat stages,
the floors that break with EVERY fall,
the lack of character physics (like T4's hair),
and....Jinpachi. Vanilla Jinpachi. Ugh! I'd MUCH RATHER play against wedgie Heihachi any day!
I've been a Steve Fox main since Tekken 4 - had a lot of fun with that game on PS2 back in the day
Tekken 4 is my favorite, because it was so different overall. That game stays with me more than the first three.
Solid tier list, Justin. Usually there will be some disagreement with a list this huge, but I reckon you were bang on with this one.
I appreciate the fact that he put Melee under GOAT status. Even if you don't consider melee a fighting game like he said, high level melee is some of the greatest shit to watch.
strive isnt the greatest, but it certainly doesn't deserve trash tier
It does.
It is trash they ruined what was guilty gear they fell in to that blazue crosstag Dbz fighterz spam 1 button bs

It doesn't resonate with the original concept of Guilty Gear, so yeah it does
good list, agreed with most if not all, nice vid, probably the only tier list vid i could ever watch in full haha tremendous
You should try Guilty Gear Missing Link. The game is so broken that is what actually fun to play.
Characters play almost exactly like each other
If it doesn’t get that much attention with 20 million monthly players, then a large number of those players are probably bots.
Interessing
I'm sitting here watching this like "Wait...I've seen this already!" and immediately remembered that I was in the stream when you were doing this xD
Surprised Last Blade (1 & 2) plus SVC Chaos not mentioned, but solid list :)
Came to say same thing
would actually love to hear you explain strive XD
Have fun :B
To top it off, every weird/odd person got abandoned from what they enjoyed while these clowns say "STOP HATING WHAT WE LIKE!" after robbing said fanbase who was loyal to the series simply for enjoying it.
Most underrated fg is KI. Always been and always will.
I agree with most but can't get down with MK11 and Injustice 2 getting swatted like that 😂 loved those games, personally - the MTs notwithstanding, I had a lot of fun with em. BUT to each their own, obvi 🤘 Fun video as always, Justin!
MK11 is an underappreciated gem, so is IJ2.

Anyone remember Power Stone on dreamcast? Loved that game back in the day.
Glad SFxT has some love. It's an amazing game that was also underwhelmed due to a bad launch.
Somehow, my heart melted when you said X Tekken was a good game. I really think people hated on this game way too fast. It was a real fun game and I wish it stayed longer at tournament, just to see 2 players against 2 players, that was really fun to see great players teamed up.
Pretty good list, Strive being trash is crazy tho bro 😂
I would also say give Melty Blood Type Lumina a shot, it's actually really good.
The problem with mb and uni2 is that they are just too expensive for the kind of game they are
Yes mb tl looks visually stunning but its still mb, and uni2 is still just uni ;
A part of the appeal of those games was imo that you could get them for cheap, and i suspect a lot of people who weren’t already fans wont want to pay full price for them
Everybody always misses Weaponlord... difficult and convoluted to learn, but I think it was a really good game
Been quite indecisive about buying MK1 there's just soo many ppl saying a lot of bad things about it and not worth it in general but hearing this guy say it's quite good is very useful tbh
I think I might buy it (winter sale 50% off atm) and put time into it to get good
It will be even cheaper in April, if you are willing to hold out.
I don't regret pre-ordering Street Fighter x Tekken. I've always had fun with the gameplay. ❤
Literally the only thing I would change, moving Soul Calibur 2👆
LITERALLY THE ONLY THING STOPPING SKULLGIRLS FROM GOAT STATUS IS NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE KNOW IT’S STRAIGHT FIRE
Soul Calibur II was definitely a sleeper. I had so much fun playing that game that I neglected to play Tekken for local tournaments hahaha.
And it was newbie friendly too. No air juggles makes it acessible
I love the biased towards Mvc2 and Umvc3 both of my favorite FGs of all time
I was curious about what you thought about Soul Edge.
(...or Mitsurugi)
I think Bloody Roar would've been fun to see, but it felt a bit unbalanced.

Mk was always mid
Strive is a coin toss 2hit simulator, or 30 second defense simulator with obscure visually impairing frame traps
it's really frustrating when you play other games well, and Strive cuts that out as an option and forces unfun unreactable mix ups
As a long time fan of Guilty Gear since GGX I agree that Strive is trash tier. The game barely feels like GG and I got bored of it before they even starting releasing dlc.
@@AzurePhoenix86 honestly strive feels like sfv except with good netcode. Just wish strive was a spin off series
Strive is simply badly designed game and theres a reason fanbase of it are smash players and people who didnt liked fighting games before/got into them with it.
Doesn't excuse bad gameplay though. Mechanicaly speaking, it's very weak, even though aesthetically it's my favorite Tekken.
