So eto nanaman tayo, pagusapan natin si Harry Stack Sullivan, na isa sa mga controversial na figure sa psych hindi dahil sa theories niya lang kung hindi sa pagkatao niya din.
Basically, ang sinasabi ng theory niya is that kailangan natin ang ibang tao at ang relationship na mabubuo natin with them para magdevelop ang personality natin in a good way. Kapag kasi hindi nangyariy yon, mataas ang possibility na magkaroon ng abnormal development ang personality.
Like other psychodynamic theories, nakita niya din ang personality as an energy system of needs and anxiety. Ang kailangan mangyari is maovercome natin ang anxiety para masatisfy ang needs natin, specifically our interpersonal needs, in every stages of our development.

gem normally hugs her mom whenever he feels hungry, and his mom would normally ask what food does he like so she could buy or cook. however, this changed after a few years. her mom would tell gem to stop and that she is tired and will not be able to give him food. he could just eat anything that's from their stock. what kind of dynamism would gem develop
a. malevolence b. intimacy c. lust d. self-system
I like his theory. Very simple and understandable. I also feel like it is true because we all need interpersonal relationship.

Hello poo, i just want to ask po. Ano yung pinagkaibahan ng BS tsaka AB psych? I've done some research na po, pero i want to know po sa side ng mas knowledgeable or nag undergo na po sa BS or AB psych. Hehe.
Hi, I am not sure pero baka ang ibig mong sabihin is BS Psych? In my case, I took up BS Psych which is almost the same with AB psych yun nga lang may science subject like Physics, Algeb, Trigo, Chem and iba pa. Usually if you have a plan or thinking about entering med school, BS Psych is the way to go but if hindi naman, AB psych is okay lang. Yun lang naman pinagkaiba nila, may dagdag na science units ang Bachelor of Science
