  • Piaget's theory argues that we have to conquer 4 stages of cognitive development. Only once we have gone through all the stages, at what age can vary, we are able to reach full human intelligence.

I remember when I explained that trees grow from seeds and my little cousins touches a small pine and says, “it’s a baby?” It was so sweet.

    I believe that everyone has a particular pace in development. It has been proven that we have different brains that operates uniquely to us, therefore, some might develop faster than other , some may develop slower . The important thing about this is no matter how fast or slow a person develops , they will all undergo the same stages.

  • @arianannienunal4999
    @arianannienunal4999 2 года назад +48

    "Does everyone have a particular pace in development?"
    -In my opinion, yes because we take up lessons, things, learnings and new stuffs differently and also apply it on ourselves or our own lives as we realize or understand that this can help us in such specific situation/s or pick out as we decide if should we do this instead of that when we are in the middle of making decisions. And most importantly as we all know or are aware of there are people who are categorized or considered as a fast learner or a slow learner. And even in some case some get their development stunted together with some disorder like people with special needs that also comes with different types and as to what I am talking about, I meant those that causes physical and mental developmental delays and disabilities like down syndrome.
    Either ways, however it goes with the individual, there's nothing to be ashamed/pressured about. Everyone should take their time and respect everyone's pace.

    "Does everyone have a particular pace in development?"
    Yes, I believe everyone has their own pace because we learn new things from time to time. All of us grow up in different ways and we learned things differently. We grew up in different environments and experienced different childhood memories and knew every single thing we wanted to do.

  • @imnice.0
    @imnice.0 2 года назад +3

    Yes, this is very true. Everyone has their own pace in development since not all of us have the same experiences in life, not all have a childhood appropriate for learning and adapting. That's why some of us grow differently. There are many factors for that, and one would be our families. They affect us, the things they can say can be implanted in our minds as we grow. So if there are rejection signs, it would result in unpleasant behaviors when we're slowly growing in our Formal Operational Stage.

  • @joshuaphillipang484

    Yes. Everyone has a particular pace of development because everyone is different from one another and it also depends environment and the teaching of his or her parents and teachers. it also depends on the child whether he or she is a fast learner and what types experiences they get.

    yes, each and everyone of us has our own pace in development since we all have different and unique experiences. Our environment and the people surrounding us when developing ourselves are different but similar at the same time since we're all taught somewhat similar things as we age like etiquette and proper manners, but even with this common knowledges taught to them, every child has their own unique pace and views in everything.

That's why I'm trying to learn a lot about psychology, culture and philosophy.
      I still find the medium to be extremely interesting and enjoyable even with the flaws I notice, so it's not that I think it's all bad. I don' think kids are usually presented with political issues, but maybe if they were they could begin to problem solve.
      I think kids usually think primarily in the way of the stage they are in, so sensorimotor (1) are more interested in using their senses to figure out their environment, preoperational (2) begin to think symbolically, concrete operational (3) try to use logic to process old/new info, and at formal operational (4) we begin to think abstractly. I think by 4. your brain feels like it's figured everything out already and isn't operating quite like it was in stage 3. So you can begin to think logically after around age 6,7, at stage 3, but aren't as hung up about it by age 12+ at stage 4 (the final stage we hopefully all make it to). Stage 3 is where you get the kids that ask "Why?" over and over again. (when they're not trying to be annoying lol)

    Learning takeaways:
    Balancing a child's awareness during their learning process is one great aspect to reach different milestones as they take step by step their growth and development. The different activities they overgo as they grow allows them to become more curious and eager to know more about their environment.
    Does everyone have a particular pace in development? Watching this video, I learned the various way a child can acquire their cognitiveness through activities they do. As a future educator, they mostly rely on our creativity and what we can do for them; how we can guide their path and have enough patience to understand how long they acquire something. Therefore, we must plant it in our minds that these mentioned stages offers unique ways of operating in each and every one of us, and that we all enter these stages as we completely develop our cognitivity and knowledge.

    Yes, everyone have a particular pace in development because in Piaget's theory that every children has to acknowledge every pace they do and generally reach the certain milestone, and in different people in the surroundings we developed or follow what the adult are doing like its cognitive thinking even though we have different development but our experience from being a child is the same just like in the video said.

    Does everyone have a particular pace in development?
    Yes, I feel that everyone of us develops at a different pace. We learn and understand in various ways. Every person grows in a unique way, based on the people around them and how they may influence it. In addition, we have a distinct set of challenges and a different approach to solve and comprehend them.

    "Does everyone have a particular pace in development?"
    Yes. I believe that everyone does have a specific pace in development, whether it may be deliberate or swift. Experts may generalize a human's growth -- the cognitive development through dividing stages, but their classifications does not necessarily reflect every single individual as these clusters fall in the theory lane. This means that their concept holds an efficient consistency that mirrors most people's development. Personal development may take place over the path of an individual's entire lifespan and it is truly not limited to a single stage of a person's life. It occurs overtime, until the person reaches the finish line. Some medical reports states that other individuals experience development delays in speech, or social, or physical development which are also referred to as "late bloomers". This include individuals who had undergone late-onset growth or those who have disability such as dyslexia or ADHD. Moreover, late bloomers' talents and capabilities are not discernible to others until later than usual. We humans are all born differently beautiful, and at the end of the day, "life is not a race but a journey to be savored each step of the way".

    "Does everyone have a particular pace in development? Explain."
    Yes, everyone has their own pace of growing up especially in terms of development. Whether a child, adolescence, or adulthood, everyone has their own developmental milestones. Technically, not everyone with the same age matures as their age progresses simply because environment, experiences, and perspective vary. You cannot simply tell a child to develop as he or she grows up simply because it takes time or they have their own paces of development whether it's fast or slow.

    As far as I'm concerned, every human being has their own particular pace in terms of development, and I believe it varies from one person to another. It is indeed true that everyone was born to be unique; thus, it is just usual to see people developing in different paces. At times, we can encounter someone we think is old enough but is still acting childishly. This type of person could be an example of someone who has a different pace and is more delayed than others. On the other hand, we can also encounter people, especially young individuals, who have developed much quicker than others of the same age. Therefore, I would say that everyone has a particular pace in development and everyone has their own and different speed in terms of developing.

  • @karlphoenix3451

    Everyone has their own pace in development. Not all of us are placed in the same environment, which is also a huge factor when it comes to cognitive development rate. Genes are also another factor of development rate. Our pace in development can be traced using how fast we are able to get past one stage to another in Piaget's Theory.

    Every child has different learning style or a particular pace. Each child is a unique one, it is also important to learn their own learning style at their own pace, the reason are: They will be confident with themselves learning new things, it will encourage them to know and take time exploring new ideas, to help them feel confident in what they're doing, and it motivates them to learn more.

    "Does everyone have a particular pace in development?"
    Certainly yes, as the people evolve and grow in disparate environment and circumstances, we also develop in our own step and stride. The sequence depends on the physical, emotional, and more changes that occur as we, human beings, start our journey with us breathing. People are different, as well as their perspectives. Experiences and independence goes along on your expedition as a mortal and it creates and generates a massive impact on your personal development. Speaking of experiences, it also affects our growth in dissimilar conditions.

    To answer the question, yes, I believe everyone has different paces when it comes to developing. There are too many variables that can affect our way of growth, such as, the very core from where we came from, our families, the environment around us, disabilities, unexpected life events, traditional practices, and many more. These factors, even the tiniest occurrence of them, can create a butterfly effect to how our lives unfold as we live on. As a result, a kaleidoscope of stories play right before us.

    Does everyone have a particular pace in development?
    Maria Montessori once said, "Never help a child with a task at which he feels he can succeed". I believe every child develops in a unique way. It is up to the parents to educate their children in a manner that they see fit. Not everyone develops at the same time. Other people perceive their talents and skills early yet some discovered it late and that is okay because children develop at their own pace. We should never compare the abilities of every people because there is no comparison between the sun and the moon,they shines when it is their time.Everyone should free their potential and believe in everything they do because whatever failure they will encounter they can still develop and learn from every mistakes they made.
