Iron Maiden has been around for 50 years but I would never have given them the time of day if it weren't for Janick, believeing them to be 'just another metal band' until I stumbled across some videos of Janick's incredible onstage presence. Since that time I've made it my mission to collect his work from White Spirit through Gillan, Gogmagog, and Maiden (I still don't pay attention to maiden pre-1990, when Janick joined.) For me, Janick IS Maiden!!
You could train a monkey to sit there and play things note perfect. Janick brings an energy to the band they wouldn't exist today without. Love his playing and his songwriting. He's a force that you can't replicate.
I'm from Venezuela but un living in Argentina. Si i'm play guitar, hace 16 or 17 years whit at guitar. I'm listen difrents banda, guitarrs Styles , but My favorite guitars is Me Janick Gers, he ido my Idol My dream , is difrent is original and perfect
