compre este dvd y tiene varios errores por ejemplo en la canción children of the damned Danny dice que la intro es igual que el verso y eso es totalmente falso y obviamente no viene la parte del verso original, muy mal para un dvd tan caro, antes de venderlo deben tener control de calidad y ofrecer calidad, muy mal por ustedes

The sad fact, though, is that most youtube users don't down pick or alternate pick or play paid gigs. The vast majority simply NIT pick.
Maidens tight "staccato" sound is all about down picking. I have never seen any version of the song (performed by maiden) which uses alternate picking. In fact the first thing you see on the video for number of the beast is a close up of Dave's hands. The same is true of the drone notes in Rime of the Ancient Mariner after the interlude. Thats a good work out for the right arm actually, mine definitely gets tired by the end.

truth about look and playing i cut mine, anyhow 2 -3 years ago i'v seen similar nails on left hand on one guitar hero (name is not important) had a chance so i just say it 'how can you play with those nails - no afense' the answer was ' due to they protect me when do huge string bending so that string do not go in between nail and skin', i'v tried out it is truth no pain in that part of fingers any more at lest far less during long plying of old rock and blues stuff, anyhow i also use bendings maybe even to much but with no nails it is just better for me, pain ...well it goes way.so maybe that could be a reason.

i think the right observation here is to remember danny is doing all the work to make it full sounding like two guitars...its a solid cover.

I just came to realize that Dave Murray just gets a ton of mileage out of just two finger pentatonic style hammer ons and pull offs.

I think the riff was played originally with only downstrokes.
Which is quite nuts. I understand why Danny didn't go for it.
