- In this video we take a tour inside a beautifully restored 1975 GMC Motorhome. One of the most unusual coaches ever made, it's a real pleasure to see such craftsmanship on display. Especially because of the exceptional remodel they did on it!

Thanks for watching!
I feel like this GMC is what most people are trying to replicate in van builds - it has all the basics, no fluff, just a solid tiny house on wheels.
We had a yellow Glenbrook when I was a kid. One of the best things my dad ever bought. We went everywhere. Damn thing broke down a lot, A LOT, but those trips meant so much to our family. So good to see one.
Really enjoyed the tour of your motor home. But mostly I enjoyed hearing the very apparent love and respect and admiration Mark has for Donna. Lucky Mark and lucky Donna.
I love these old GMCs. And this couple is proof that even the NON-Minimalist can be a nomad.
Wonderful guy, relaxed, well mannered, articulate.
very cool vintage rig with totally awesome modifications! What a fun tour - thank you so much! 👍
It was our pleasure, thanks!
These vids are making me see a future I could probably afford! At least it could be more interesting than what I'm now doing. It's also enjoyable to have these lovely folks invite me into their homes - & to have you do the talking for me! You have a knack for interviewing & politely asking practical questions. Thanks for being such a good teacher, Bob!
do it, you wont look back!
Every time I see a GMC, I tell myself how much I like the lines. Mark and Donna have done a excellent renovation.
Gotta love the style!
Nice thing about Bobs channel is that it's about other people & their life, not self-ish.
Exactly, and even if he does a video just featuring himself, he's sharing valuable information too help others. He's a great human being! :)
That spice rack is totally cool. heck... the whole interior is really innovative.
I love the old GMCs! When my dad worked for Thetford back in the 70's he would bring a different motorhome home every couple of weeks in the summer. Me and a couple of friends would stay in them out in the driveway all weekend. Back then the big CB radio craze was in full swing so many, many hours were spent on the radios. Thanks for the great video on my favorite dinosaur!
Bob, bought your class, super excited! We are getting close to buying a rig--very excited. You rock!
I appreciate that when he was facing away from the camera I could still hear him. So many RUclips videos are difficult to hear.
Great Gmc,exactley 40 years old!, My Gmc turned 59 years old this year :)
Mark and Donna love you`re awesome home, and ty for taking the time to show it to us , me and my aunt really enjoyed it, ty Bob for another great video and ty for your time you have inspired sooo many people Bob keep em comin friend:) Peace
Great video! What a neat dude! I liked the way he described his wife's space. I'm a paper crafter myself and carved out my corner in our home. My husband says the same thing "This is Christine's space, it's what makes her happy". This is exactly what I wanted to see! When and if my hubby & I ever decide to do this, I thought about how I would still be able to craft in a small space. But I see she has her very own desk! Now I can visualize myself crafting while my hubby does his thing.
Bob, great vid. Wish we could have met Donna. Love that she can still enjoy her jewelry making and art on the road. I'm trying to decide what I need in art supplies before I hit the road. Holy crap it's hard to downsize. Love their home. TFS
I'm also an artist/crafter and would have to really downsize on my supplies to do this, but I totally love Donna's craft bench! I also have a husband that understands how much a girl needs to craft and create, lol!
This was A Beautiful Coach I loved it
Love the GMC. Motor home . The wood work is beautiful , the original cabinets are beautiful too . Nice video .
love that vintage campers are being given new life
Their rig is both unique and timeless.
Incredible! I am looking at one now. It is between this model year 1976 and a Winnebago Brave 1992. Both because of the size and fit into many spots.
WOW!!! That long drawer blew me away!!!!
I like the way he proudly tells and shows his wife's art work! And yes, he does look like Pernell Roberts!
Very cool motorhome. It would be very comfortable to live in. They are happy and that is what truly matters.
Thank you so much Bob!
Wow! Mark is the spitting image, and even sounds like, Parnell Roberts that played on Bonanza back in the day! Very cool rig setup!
Thanks Tami!
Tami Gami I was trying to remember the name of the program, thanks he definitely looks and sounds like him☺
Tami Gami>>You beat me to the punch! I was thinking the very same thing! Looked very much like Pernell Roberts on "Trapper John, MD"... Uncanny resemblance, especially when he smiled! VERY nice man!
Tami Gami I was thinking the whole time that he reminded me of someone then I read your comment and knew exactly who it was. He sounds and looks a lot like him.
I was thinking the same thing from the minute I saw him.
Great RV. A friend of ours had one in the mid 80s. I will always remember the view from the front seat.
The first time I sat up front we were driving down the highway. It took me a while to get used to how exposed I felt with that huge windshield in front of me.
We dream of a gmc when we graduate out of our ‘63 canned ham.....
I have always admired these vehicles. Their modifications are a work of art. Thank you for sharing.
Nice motor home! I can't help but to really like the owner, he's the type you always hope to meet on the road. Too bad the wife wasnt on camera, she seems to be very interesting as well. They have a great life and I wish them safe travels
The motor home is such awesome condition!
They put a lot of love, labor, and thought into it.
Donna needs to recreate those spice racks and sell them on Etsy. I'd definitely buy a few! Awesome motorhome! Love the 70's style!
So cool to see Marks motor home on your channel. I was lucky to meet Mark and his wife. I also was fortunate to tint the windows on that beauty.
Big windows!
Vantastic Living loved watching your tinting video. Wish I'd seen it before tinting mine, you had some quality tips. I've tinted a few windows in my time, and these were a breeze being so flat.
Cool man lets do this! ;)
Yes sir biggest windows in RV to date. The back was a monster. :)
Thanks man glad you dig it.
6:00 pulls out an 8 foot long drawer! WOW! nice.
I don't know why I like this guy He is just ,,,cool He needs to be in television would make a great Western hero like John Wayne... Just something about this guy.. The RV is AWESOME as well
Great vid as always. This guy should have his own channel as he's very entertaining.
Such cool renovations, very nice!
Your wife is a very creative woman.
Wow, that's a beauty.
I love this home. This would be my dream on the road home since I'm a crafter looks like I will be able to still craft once I'm on the road. Thanks for sharing!! Hugs Heather
Ty. So good to see your comfortable GMC. Very livable. Love the creative touches.
WOOOOW What A Beautiful Rig this is a Home wonderful ...
wwoooowww that is a very cool, so unique motorhome. They did an awesome job.
Thank u for sharing your beautiful home with us!
I love your motorhome it was made on my birth yr 1975. love your wife's work.
Quite a lovely home Mark and Donna. Beautiful touches indeed. What a perfect team you both are...creative and genius. Thanks for the great video Bob. Safe travels to you all. Namaste.
Loved how they redid this vintage motorhome...such a nice set-up!!
I like vintage vehicles more than modern ones. They seem to have character and give off a warm vibe.
Bob, do they have to take everything out of bathroom when showering or was there a shower curtain to section off their items?
I so look forward to your vids with all the ideas and various cast of characters. I know it's just a small window into everyones lives but most come off so grounded, happy and content. Very inspirational.
A great interview and a wonderful tour. While watching, I couldn't help but keep thinking up changes to my '84 Class C Ford Jamboree...23 ft...especially where cabinets are concerned. Lol. LOVE THE SPICE RACK! Donna had a great idea, there! :)
Thank you Mark and Donna, very nice motorhome... thank you Bob
Thank you Sarah!
As others already stated, that is a sweet rig!
I've always loved the GMC motorhomes and this one is a beaut! Thanks for the tour!
I see the Pernell Roberts, but to me seems like William T. Riker wearin an Idiana Jones outfit, living in a shuttlecraft, and that's all cool in my book! Cool style all around.
When the video first started I was trying to remember where I had seen one of these rigs before... When the gentleman mentioned the movie "Stripes" it hit me. Yes I do remember seeing them in the movie. It makes me happy when people take vintage A Classes like these and turn them into these wonderful homes on wheels. I enjoyed seeing how this couple renovated everything to fit their needs and expanded on their comfort. And windows for days! I think this was probably my most favorite feature of the rig.
Thanks for another great interview.
Bob you get to see some of the coolest people, and some of the coolest, rv, motorhomes, buses, vans. Love your vids.
Is there ever a FULL TIME RVers' CRAFT FAIR ? I'd love to attend. I do crafts, painting, etc., and love seeing what artwork people are doing.
Sounds like a great idea!
Awesome interview and tour. Nice personality, Peace & Happy Travels.
Great video again Bob, it is nice to see another couple that enjoy life in a sustainable way.
Thank you Freetasman!
Awesome motorhome . Those old GMC where ahead of there time !
Great job!
Grate informative interview Bob. Thanks for sharing
That was a very beautiful old travel trailer. Thank you for the video. Life is good.
It was our pleasure ND!
I really like that motorhome, especially the idea of his wife having her own a desk in there, I couldn't function without one.
It's a great example of a rig built for two!
Beautiful!
Brilliant! I hope to meet this couple down the road wow much to be learned from thease folks! And Donna is quite the ARTIST WOW . THAT SPICE RACK NEEDS TO BE MARKETRD AND HER ART WORK NEEDS TO BE SEEN! Live love and spread kindness xooxox
Thanks for sharing Bob! Something nostalgic about those gmc's. Love them! Hope I live long enough to participate in a RTR.
Love the GMC, thanks for the tour. I've never seen the inside of one of these before.
This was a lot of fun to film.
love this one ty so much Bob,,,such an intelligent man,,love their motorhome also
Awesome guys, thanks for sharing!
I was blessed to be given a tour and just love love love the personal touches
They are wonderful people I look forward to seeing them again
I was drooling through both videos over that vintage GMC motorhome! The dedicated work space at the huge picture window is genius! Thank you Mark (creative Wife too) and Bob for the thorough tour!
wow I want to become a bucketeer never new the trusty ol pale was so useful we need to form a bucket brigade asap
What a wonderful home 😊.
Wow..some really interesting details.. love the upholstery and the distressed aluminium. Has a kind of steampunk flavour. That quality aged look never seems to become dated.
Thanks for watching Rob. Vintage models are a lot of fun to look at.
Here is pure Steampunk applied to a teardrop..I love that look.: -)

Mark's wife is a very talented artist. They have a quite nice outfit.
that is a nice setup, Mark good job. thanks for showing it.
Great motor home, love those old style vehicles
Wonderful interview. What a beautiful older motorhome. They have truly made it unique and I love the counter tops. Some of that old wood is so beautiful. When you two were visiting, Mark's voice reminded me of Robert Parnell. He is the guy that played Adam Cartwright on Bonanza. I wish Donna would have been there but that is ok. Tell her hi and thanks for sharing her(their) beautiful home. Happy camping Joyce
Thanks Joyce! Not everyone wants to be on camera but Donna's influence was certainly present!
nice home. light and airy. didn't seem cramped.
I am so very impressed with this motor home! The floor board counter tops are gorgeous, and I love those stacked wooden bowls that are in Donna's work area. The natural light is so inviting with those windows. I could go on and on. I'm wondering what sort of stenciling product Donna used on the woodwork? It's just gorgeous! The only thing I could do without is the gas mileage. That's a huge amount of power, which I guess is good to have! I had a motor that size in a 74 Trans Am years ago.Wow! I enjoyed this video very much Bob. I just love seeing all the options that are out there. I still have absolutely no idea what I'm going to actually wind up in for my first rig, but I sure am getting an education that is much appreciated as well as entertaining. Thanks as always Bob!!! Tammie
Tammie Parrish you're right about Natural Light being inviting. I like it better than Bud Light personally. 😬
Very interesting man. And love the beautiful living quarters!!
One of your best tours Bob Thanks
thumbs up awesome rig, Seems they have done some very cool improvements, I do love that spice rack lol..
wow very insightful, thank you for sharing guys!
I'm guessing that he likes the original paint job on the outside. But if it was me I would paint that.
Good job Bob and thanks for letting us in your home Mark.
Our kids use the bunk beds, they love them. They are really sturdy.
WELL! That video and motorhome are almost pushing me toward getting a motorhome like that, and I swore that I didn't want a motorhome! Good job, Bob!
I am purchasing my first GMC Motorhome the 15th of this month. (1978 Royal) I am downsizing from a 2011 34 ft FRED Class A with 3 slides. (which I really love staying in, I just don't love driving something so large) I LOVE classic vehicles so this was a perfect choice for me. I started with a Class C-Mercedes/Winnebago, then the Class A to this. It is so true it takes awhile to find exactly what you want. I am very impressed with the GMC community and can't wait to be apart of it. Great video and interview.
This Man reminds me of the Oldest Son on the Bananza TV series Adam Cartright i think his character..
Awesome looking GMC Motorhome. This is my idea of what a motorhome should be. It's large enough that two adults could live in it comfortably. But it's smaller than most Class A RVs today. If I bought one, I'd keep it as original possible, but I'd also upgrade a few things to make it more modern. Among the upgrades would be the replacement of the 455 V8 engine with a 6.5 Turbo Diesel engine. :)
Front wheel drive built to be what it is from the ground up, not something tacked onto a truck frame - a thing of beauty and great utility. Thank you for sharing the dream machine.
love this one...I am an artist and planning on retiring to a mobile (small) life...thank you!
Thanks for watching Merri, I wish you all the best!
Tony living is in my future...my retirement in a year or two...thank you for your help
This thing is awesome. Thanks for the tour!
great interview Bob. please pass my thanks for the wisdom and the tour!
Congratulations Bob. I think you got a good deal on the van, and you will have many years of enjoyment from it. I am looking forward to on going videos about the build. It will be interesting to see just what your priorities are when building your home. I am thinking, "will he put the bed along the side?" "will he put the bed across the back?" so many possibilities. I am so very happy for you!
It's such a pleasure to plan my home by my priorities!
We're all excited for you. Will you sell your old van to someone just getting started? Perhaps one of the car dwellers might be intetested.
I loved this video! I only found out about the GMC RV's several days ago so this video was just great to watch! I had wanted to see the inside of one. Thanks!
This is soo cool. All great upgrades in the camper, and storage in thier truck.Never seen one of these GMC's very spacious inside.Hope they are well and having fun adventures. Thanks for the tour.Happy journey's to you.
Very nice home. Thank u for sharing! Love counter workspace/kitchen area! More room than in my house!
Very informative. When I was a kid, this was the Rolls Royce of motorhomes. I remember seeing them at the annual antique car show in Hershey, PA. Great guest.
Sounds Great to Me... Keep it Simple .. Comfortable, and Off The Grid... Very Efficient..
Great Video.!!
My Dad was in charge of the plant that built these motor homes. I have the original owners operating manual and first aid kit from the GM motor home and would love for them to go to a good home.
