    The prepositions of time, prépositions de temps in French, are divided into 3 categories:
    1. They simple ones: à, de, en, après, avant, depuis
    2. The ones including "jusque": jusqu'à, jusqu'au, jusqu'aux, jusqu'en, etc.
    3. Pour - pendant - durant, all of them meaning for.
    Besides that, they are used in a similar way to the English prepositions of time ;)
    In 1. de -> dans

    Bonjour Dylane, Merci pour touts les videos très utile! Un question: à 05:25 vous ditez que « Plus que deux mois jusqu’aux fêtes de fin d’année » means « only two months before the holidays ».
    I read it as “More than two months before the end of the year.” Can you confirm which one is correct? One implies that it’s a long time and one implies that it’s not much time. Does the French phrase have the same connotation?
    If in English we say “There’s more than two months until…” it seems like it’s a long way away. But saying “It’s only two months until…” gives the impression that it’s coming up soon!

    1) J'ai dormi Durant 8 heures and
    J'ai dormi en 8 heures , both would mean the same because they both are used to indicate the entire duration of an action ?? Right??

    The french prepositios play such an integral role in the french language overall unlike the english prepositions that don't influence the english language to the same degree..?

      @@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane just refering back to my initial comment dylane. The prepositios in french comes after the verb or the pronoun can come after the preposition which makes the preposition in french fall into two categories which can be a preposition or postpreposition roughly in that order unlike english which is mostly preposition in most cases..l am sorry for not articulating this in the right order when i initially made the comment to you..

      I give a free PDF for all my regular lessons (I have more than 100 free PDFs on my website), but I have to pay bills and eat, also there are a lot of expenses related to produce videos like this.
      I chose to put my courses on RUclips so people can watch and learn no matter their income. I could have sold everything as a package and charge hundreds of dollars too. This way works for you so you can learn, and it works for me so I can pay my bills and make a living.
