When I saw the clip of that little girl, she couldn’t have been a day over 3, crying because she thought The Rock killed Cody, I knew Cody was never turning heel again.

I was the stupid question kev responded, too, lol. But I'm just looking at the fact I don't see that bona-fide heel like a Roman right now that Cody could clash with. I know it's all in storytelling, and to me, if he could stay healthy, Punk as a heel is way better than babyface. But I'm looking over at Smackdown, and I'm like Solo isn't nowhere near ready, and who else do they have that could play that villain? Gunther on smackdown would have been a home run easily.

Someone who thinks punk is a jackass in real life. It’s easier to be a heel than a face and that’s why if you can be a good face then that’s way cooler. Anyone can do the Simple things to get cheap heat but getting the overwhelming of fans to be so passionately behind you ... that takes a lot more substance.

I'd love to know Kevs feeling on Priest giving Jey the Razors Edge and Jey kicked out. I know i may take it to personal, but it's like all the superkicks (ie: Bucks/USOs) and even powerbombs I just look at it as a sort of disrespect on wrestlers who made those moves mean something.
Razor’s edge i get, that was a one of one move, meaning no one else had done it but Scott. Power bombs & super kicks though are staple & signature moves. Difference is just in usage, like Nash didnt jus use a power bomb, he used a “jacknife”, HBK used “SCM”. It bugs me that Kevin Owens uses the stunner. Some moves should be left alone

Vince wanted to go away from Bret and find his next Hogan, but he kept failing and having to go back to Bret because Bret was always over. That doesn't mean Bret failed, that means he was the reliable guy Vince had to go back to BECAUSE he was over. He wasn't Austin or Hogan or Rock (noone is btw) but he was still over. Internationally, Bret was really over. So no, he didn't fail.

WWE screwed themselves. Having Roman as a heel champ so long, they created tons of hot babyfaces. Now they switch to a squeaky clean babyface who makes all the other babyfaces degraded. They don't have any real great heels besides Drew Galloway.

I may get shit for this, but Cody Rhodes never struck me as a top guy. He seems like he would be a great mid-card worker or someone that’s a part of a stable with higher tier wrestlers than himself, or a good tag team.

What Cody’s managed to accomplish is incredible. He’s proven me and so many people wrong since 2016. Like Cody or not it’s undeniable that the guy is an absolute star. In the last year This guy has main evented mania 3 times and won the rumble twice. This guy is such a star WWE had to replace the rock with him in the title match with Roman. Cody is the full package really. He’s got the look, he’s got in the ring skills, he’s charismatic and can talk, he’s got a great entrance. The guy is over as fuck and he sells tickets and merch out his ass.

LA is too entertaining and good on the mic and has more charisma people will turn on Cody in that feud we've seen a little bit of that during the Final Boss run the only difference now is that Cody is not the underdog anymore he's at the top so the sympathy from the audience will not be there this time.

Cody's act as a pure face was already stale before Rock came in and essentialy made Cody. The Raw ratings with Cody as a star throughout 2023 were terrible.
