  • Part 2 of my skeleton build. After some changes and a few blunders, my skeleton prop is starting to take shape. A couple minor tweaks and I should be done. Part 3 is coming soon.
    Some of my blunders:
-Didn't buy the 12 volt power pack for the wiper motor from fightprops. Big mistake! My attempts to save a few bucks cost me a fried wiper motor. Learn from my mistake...buy the power pack from fightprops!
-Hooked up all the electronics through one 12 volt power source. The wiper motor caused interference to be heard through the powered speakers. Ran a separate power source for he speakers to correct the problem. Also going to use a larger amp for sound source.
In part 3 I will show the finished product and go through a brief tutorial on how to create your own creepy personalized vocals using your computer and a free software called Reaper.

We are trying to have a similar rocking chair set up in our décor for this year and this has helped a lot. Thank you for posting!

Sorry to hear about the melt down. Live and learn. It's coming along nice though.

Thanks scubaspook1.... It's all in the learning process. I learned I'd make a pretty crummy electrician! Haha
