Hey Davie☺ 7:00 I’m one of the artist from your video reviewing Taiwaneses bassist.🎵 My name is Kimi Wu. I got to say I’m a big fan of yours, and I’m really honored.😀 You’re basically the reason that I picked up bass.🎶 So thank you for making videos, for reviewing my bass skills. That really means a lot to me.🙏
I absolutely love how good musicians look into each other's eyes when they play. It's like they're reading each other in real time, sort of a way of talking without talking
Davie: The Country of Taiwan. CCP: Wait, that's illegal. Davie: I am Italian amBASSador. CCP: Oh, right. You have diplomatic immunity. Have a good day, Sir.
Hey David, I don’t usually comment much but I really loved the bass song you played for this video. For some reason, it has an incredible soothing vibe to it but also a complexity and fun joy to it as well which I believe makes it perfect for any occasion, happy, sad or angry. I really love it, thanks for playing it davie. Keep the good vibes going.
Thank you for your efforts behalf of great cause. Bass and drums are roadies friends. I also would like to know if you can do an episode on some of the scandic countries.
I find it very romantic that Davie 504 played bass with his girlfriend. It’s very romantic to see couples do things they both like to do. But also harmonize on the same instruments with each other. Well done Davie 504 you have met my expectations. Keep slapping bass!
For those who don’t know what the sound is in 7:44. Everyday except Sunday there’s usually a trash truck send by the local government those trucks will stop at some intersections to collect trash directly from people who live there(there’s no such a place where people dump there trash like a little hill, you will be fined by leaving your trash on the ground, this is called the "no trash on ground policy") and that’s the sound the truck will play when the trash truck comes. The funny thing is that one day I heard the trash truck coming and was going to take out the trash then I met my new foreign neighbor he told me that he’s going to buy some ice cream, after that he followed me to the intersection where the sound comes from. At first I was confused but I realized that he misstook the sound of a trash truck for an ice cream truck. To his surprise the truck which is playing the song was a trash truck. But at last I took him to a famous shaved ice shop where we have a nice big bowl of shaved ice with special ingredients on it and hang out together for the night.
You mean 7:44? Thanks for the info! Where I live there is something similar, except that truck comes 3 days a week per neighborhood, and it doesn't play any tune because it has a schedule and people takes the trash out a couple of hours before the trucks comes (also engine is pretty loud so you can hear it from quite far).
@@Zeru64_ yeah i mean 7:44 thanks for the correction. the trash truck also have a schedule but it plays the tune to remind those who forgot to take there trash out BTW I am curious about where are you from?
Thanks - I knew the sound, but it sounded like so many other Taiwanese "notifications". One company I have visited many times has a musical chime for lunch break and end of day, for example.
I've somehow ended up here despite playing no instruments, and going through a bunch of your videos has made my day. Love the humour, love the way you put your content together, keep it coming!

Oh shit, Elephant Gym! I watched some of their performances a couple years ago when I was going down an Audiotree/math-rock rabbit hole on RUclips. Great band.
I've not gotten to travel nearly as much as I wanted to. But I can say that the Taiwanese people that I know are incredibly kind, hard working, funny, optimistic and generous. I was close to 2 Taiwanese girls growing up and now that I am 35 and have a family of my own, I can see that I have incorporated A LOT of the values that I saw in that family that were lacking in my own home. I know it's on tangentially related, but I don't often find the opportunity to acknowledge this.
