Lines will be inconsistent if you cut with the bag flat. Roll the bag so the seam is centered before cutting the tip. That way, you will pipe a beautifully rounded string.

Yes! I have just discovered that few month back, these kinds of piping bags should come with instructions before use, should they! haha

If your making ur own piping bags wax paper will not stay together you should try using parchment paper. I have tried the thin wax paper an my bag feel apart. The thick wax paper used for wrapping meats its white an has wax on one side with plain paper on the other side works but not the thin one. Hope this helps you in making your owm parchment piping bags it's nice to have them for certain things or if you running short on piping bags.
