I can lucid dream a little bit. Nothing cool like composing a song or solving equations, but I have a degree of control in the outcomes of my dreams. If I don't like something that's happening I can pause the dream, rewind, change what I didn't like, and then play the better version. For example: 'I'm dreaming that it's a sunny day, I'm at the beach with friends, we go for a dip in the water and play volleyball, but then these sharks come and start attacking us.' I don't like that so I'll rewind until we get in the water and now instead of sharks there's dolphins who steal the ball and they play keepings off the humans 🐬 I've always been able to do this, I actually thought it was normal lol. Imagine what I could do if I could be assed training 😂
all of my lucid dreams are very clear memories, really awesome experiences. I mostly just jump through a window to "test" if it's really a dream, like can I really jump 3 meters, okay it's a dream, it's safe to go through a window. flying makes my stomach feel like I'm in a rollercoaster, it feels better than dreamsex guess I should try something actually useful, but I tend to wake up if I focus on anything too much. pro tip: if you feel yourself waking up in the lucid dream, which you weirdly enough can, look down and turn in circles. Saves it everytime for me. also if you're unsure if it's a dream, look at a clock, they don't work in dreamspace
My dreams often give me inspiration for stories because of how epic and detailed they are. They're all like movies, it's kind of crazy. I write them down just so I can remember them to use as inspiration. I find that when I write my dreams down, I tend to remember more of them after waking up, but I don't feel like it impacts whether I'm lucid in dreams or not. A lot of the time (not always) I am like subconsciously aware that I'm dreaming, but it doesn't really affect how I act in the dream, I just continue as if I wasn't in a dream. Also one time a reality check thing didn't work in a dream. I did the hand test thing to see if my finger went through my hand and it didn't the first time I tried it so I actually thought I was awake. It did go through the second time though.
Last night was the first time I had a lucid dream. I was standing in line and realised I was dreaming. I couldn't do anything, and I didn't have any powers. I just stood in line knowing that I was dreaming. When I woke up I was so disappointed.
Hi both! I was wondering if you would ever do an episode on supplements and the wellness industry? seeing soo many instagram ads for green powders, mushroom teas etc and wanted to know the science behind it!
29:23 this happens to me a lot. However I can recall this one specific instance that happened to me when I was a kid and I think it was super weird. IRL, I was sleeping in my bed my mom was calling my name out loud to wake me up. I was in my dream at this point and I can hear this, I dream as if my school teacher in the bus is calling out my name. in the dream, I do not respond to her, my teacher walks towards me with anger and slaps my back and I wake up to realise it was my mum who actually slap. How the heck in the dream I could have anticipated this. the slap was at perfect sync, maybe for a second after my mind has processed the slap, it quickly imagined a scenario in my dream and staged a show?? it felt soo real

Why do we feel like we’re drifting off into a dream when going to sleep sometimes if dreams don’t happen immediately 😮
i've learnt to have complete control over my dreams (while dreaming) but im to lazy to write the whole process down😅
it honestly kinda killed the point of dreaming so i stopped
