I cured my 80 yr old's Berberi with B1 TTFD, methylated B complex, and nano liquid magnesium. All of her doctors piled on meds, poked and prodded her digestive tract, but found nothing wrong with her. Slow motility, acid reflux, GERD, tachycardia, POTS, ataxia, peripheral neuropathy, SIBO, hyperglycemia, muscle aches etc. After I removed all her meds I told her doctors, but they didn't care. I know that most people get thiamine deficiency from alcohol use, but I got it during a period in my life when I was anorexic. When I got to the hospital they were pumping me full of so many vitamins but the doctor was most concerned about the TD (thiamine deficiency). I was seeing what looked like sparks in the sides of my eyes, kept saying I was 5 years younger than I actually was, and was just confused in general. I was in the hospital for about a month with and IV giving me vitamins and mainly B1 everydy. when I got out, I was still prescribed to take 300mg a day in pill form. I was totally coherent again, no more sparkles in my peripheral vision, felt genuinely good and less depressed. When I researched it, I couldn't believe how much I had to take to get my levels back to normal. That was a couple years ago, Im healthy now but I still take a thiamine supplement pill everyday.

Hi Elliot, you're quickly becoming one of my favorite RUclipsr. True story I decided to take thiamine about two weeks ago after watching your videos on and off about a year. I was hoping it would help with peripheral neuropathy in my feet which it did. But after taking 600 mg of benfotamine twice a day I realized on day two that I wasn't losing hair any more. I'm a 60 yr woman who's been going bald no matter what I did for 40 years. I've seen countless doctors who told me a bunch of nonsense why I was losing my hair. I've heard Biotin which never helped me at all was supposed to be good for HL, but I never heard about B1 for HL. I'm very fit eat organic food not much junk food and take lots of top of the line supplements. Vitamin B1 is the only thing that's made a difference. I've gone from 2-300 hundred strands which was very weak and thin a day to 0-10 strands a day. I would love to hear your thoughts, thanks for all you do.

I had sudden onset peripheral neuropathy in January 21, chilblains with ulcers that lasted for several months, Raynauds in fingers, high resting pulse rate, constant sweating under arms/groin, pins and needles in hands, blue skin on extremities when cold. I knew it was nerve (parasympathetic/sympathetic) related because my left middle toes and right middle fingers were worse, and were bad together.
Doctor was clueless, said..”it was just one of those things that happen “.
Came across a Dr Berg video on Benfotiamine and Alpha lipoic acid. Started taking them in May 21, noticed an improvement almost immediately. Now October 21, about 80% cured.

RUclipsrs have helped so many people who get treated by doctors as if they're in a sheep dip. I hate doctors and hospitals, the first and last thing they do is try to get rid of you. Honestly, it's only when I get upset and angry that they begin to listen, but here's the thing: they STILL don't do their damn job. I'm sick of explaining simple symptoms to then see a giant question mark appear above the so-called doctor's head (I could punch them all, USELESS!)

@@xenajade6264 that’s brilliant! Although I’ve taken Thiamine on & off over the years I never, until now, equated it with better digestion. However over the last few weeks my digestion nosedived (as it does from time to time), & pretty much ground to a halt. Gastritis, horrendous & very painful gas & bloating, & constipation. But picking up on the gastro connection made me dig the Thiamine out again - & within 3 days things have improved dramatically in the digestion department.
I suspect getting, or absorbing enough Thiamine has been an issue for me for decades. Poor gut function, IBS, Candida & fungal issues, parasites, malabsorption, slow stomach emptying/Gastroparesis, GERD/Acid Reflux/Silent Reflux, hair loss, inability to lose weight, lactic acid issues, 20 years of hypoglycemia followed by diabetes 23 years ago & low energy for over 50 years can all be linked to functional Thiamine deficiency.

My current plan WRT B1 is to start with Benfotiamine and work my way up to 900-1050mg per day (150mg caps from country life). Then switch to TTFD at 1 per day and work my way up to 3-4 per day. I will also take a good array of supporting nutrients as per your previous video, including other b vitamins. I'm looking to take my health up another level to be the best ever (ever). I stopped taking b-complex a couple years ago b/c it was giving me nerve pain, and I read that too much b-complex can cause that. Nerve pain went away, but now I don't have the most optimal energy levels, and my sleep is sometimes challenged. Sleep is improving with taking glycine at night as well as inositol during the day. I already take a lot of magnesium, and I'll add L-theanine at night to help the sleep improve as well.

Sir 5 year ago, I got constipation problem. Every pathy Dr. Prescribe laxative, but no tell me that this is due to Thayamin defeciency. I have a book of vitamin. One day I read in it that long term constipation I's due to defeciency of B1. It is also mentioned that refined sugar is the cause. Also, B1 is necessary for brain. I got actual reason of my problem. From then, I start eating brown rice, which contain B1 in plenty. My all problems solved. Now, that brown rice is not available. So, I enquire about Thayamin tablet. But, many chemist from my town and near by city told, such product, we do not seen. Lastly, I told my son to see this tablet in a medium size metropolitan city. He enquire, but many told not available. He then met a chemist where, he always purchase medicine, when he was in college. The chemist was kind enough and told my son that till night, he will bring Thayamin tablet from whole seller and will give him. In India, hospital is that cruel business, they (drs) want the patient should come to them, after every couple of month. This, is proved many times.

Good vid, however (and I am taking B1 [benfotiamine] in daily doses of 600 mg to handle drop foot -it did) to get the full benefit of this, in addition to taking 2-3 b complex tablets a day, I take 3-4 heaped teaspoons of brewers years (high in other b vits, enzymes and cofactors). Per Adelle Davis in her book "Lets Get Well" neuritis was only healed in case studies she saw when they were given yeast in addition to B complex tablets with the B1; b1 and b comp without yeast did not do the trick. Per Adelle it is always a good idea to keep supplements balanced as so many nutrients work together that an excess in one can create deficiencies in others. My sense of balance has recently improved and, after having read some of the successes below, I am considering going up for 3-4 months (have been taking 600 mg for 12 months) to 900 mg. If this is in excess of what I need as it is fat soluble (benfotiamine) I am assuming the liver will store it.

I knew my dad was thiamine deficient after years of alcohol abuse, NSAIDS, malnutrition and celiac. I convinced the doctor to give him injections but after they ended he only took 100mg benfothiamine sporadically and eventually developed seizures (which was all his doctors would ever focus on). They had no answer for his abrupt cognitive decline, balance issues and swelling of his feet and legs went on for a year with no doctor listening to me. He died in his sleep from congestive heart failure (and subsequent heart attack) a few months ago. I could puke. It makes me so mad. Doctors in Canada don’t care because they have no time to care. I personally have been waiting 8 months for a CTA to check on a dissecting aneurysm in my carotid artery (after both of my carotids tore spontaneously last year). Also of note, I was never even admitted to a hospital with a 100% blocked left carotid and a 70% blocked right one at the same time. Sometimes I hate this country. In food it always comes with plenty of magnesium (200:1), and it's impossible to get more than 2mg unless you eat pork or salmon. At the same time, both magnesium and thiamine are contained in sufficient quantities in most foods. Chicken and horse feeds are not supplemented with B vitamins.
My hypothesis is that thiamin and magnesium are twins. You need to keep the ratio within a narrow range, or things go awry. Both thiamine and magnesium are universal in all natural foods, and the average ratio is about 200:1, so 400mg: 2mg daily. If you supplement one, you also need to match the other, in that ratio.

Thiamine deficiency has severely damaged this world. People locked in chronic fight-or-flight (due to Thiamine deficits) have strong, but erroneous, feelings that their behavior is normal, when it is just dysfunction. They see it to their left and right, and conclude that their feelings, thoughts, and actions are normative (when it is merely widespread group dysfunction). This is particularly troublesome in societies which have made alcohol abuse and alcoholism tantamount to idolatry. Those people are profoundly misguided and sad, and they try to assert that destroying themselves through the excessive consumption of that molecule (alcohol) is somehow a strength.
The real issue is that they are afraid to admit that they are wrong, and are on the road to self-destruction. How “manly” or “strong” is someone laid low, and having surrendered their free will to an inanimate object (a freaking molecule)? Zero. It is very oddly arrogant and weak simultaneously..
The answer is to take B-vitamins, exercise, speak to a good nutritionist, and throw out all of your drugs and alcohol, and learn how to be humble.

The doctor said that he had been seeing quite a few ear infections and I'm wondering if it could be related to the covid vaccine that I took. I had two shots and a booster with a fair amount of fatigue for at least 2 weeks after each shot. Then I got vertigo for about 3 months which was followed by the clogged ear which went on until I began the B1 therapy. Both the vertigo and the clogged ear were on the left side. Thank goodness for finding out about the benefits of B1 because I'm starting to feel great! Thank you!

Allergy I heard were linked to vitamin D (stop immunity from overreacting) and some people suggest Zink (linked to immunity, can be depleted by ingredient in sodas like cola or Pepsi, it also depletes magnesium). Some people suggest exposure therapy. Low dosage exposure to allergen. But it can dangerous, you need to consult doctor about it.

Low Calsium raises histamin levels in your body. Be sure to take K2 when adding vitamine D otherwise calsium won't reach your cells but stay in your blood vessels. Calsification is dangerous. Vitamine D raises the calsium uptake twenty fold.

Sir, in addition, thiamine defeciency indirectly lead to skin diseases. Because, when body get insufficient thiamine from food we eat, body produce it from sulphur or Silicon. Which may lead to defeciency of sulphur and or Silicon. Defeciency of sulphur and or Silicon lead to various skin diseases.

thanks eo. i had food poisoning in 2018, sibo onset by 2019, found giardia once, candida many and dysbiosis on several stool tests, H2+CH4 sibo on breath test. been through the wars with a myriad of symptoms, sadly main ones that have stayed are crepitus, distal and limb muscle atrophy and myelin degeneration, pins and needles and burning settling in, and full body hair thinning and loss to boot. OAT testing is on the way but with my low energy, epithelial wrinkling and dryness, and hair loss i have my suspicions of lps or even worse neurotoxins from gut chemistry placing nerves and mitochondria under attack, so b1 is worth a shot. serum total b12 is climbing 1500umol but paradoxically i have symptoms like b12 deficiency. i take 1.6g/d of benfothiamin. i'm tall at 6ft5, 178kg, i'm wondering if you use any bmi indices to match up dosing. as it stands i believe i've been 'losing' a toxins battle and figure i'll need at least 1600mg to overcome.

    • @alisonbamford6723
      @alisonbamford6723 3 года назад +6

High blood B12 levels may suggest your body is unable to convert B12 to its ‘active’ forms - methyl- & adenosyl-cobalamin - for cellular uptake. B12 tests are usually serum-based & do not reflect what is going on at cellular level. Whilst your blood level may be high, your cells may be starving!
There is a lot of synergy between B vitamins, so it may be that a shortage of other B vitamins, like B1, B2, B6, Folate, etc, might just be inhibiting the conversion. Magnesium is needed too, & getting plenty of potassium-rich foods. I take ‘active’ (already converted) sublingual B12 drops (as, like many people I don’t absorb or utilise B12 very well digestively in capsule/tablet forms), plus a good B-50 complex & a fair amount of extra Thiamine/Benfotiamine & find that work pretty well, but I’ve learned to my cost that I cannot go too long without my precious B vitamins.

I just purchased your product and it will probably be at least a week before I get it because I'm in the United States. I've been watching your videos and I'm very interested in using your product. In the articles you've written you mentioned that 1500 mg is the dosage where people see benefit, the people mentioned had severe neurological disorders. If someone has something similar to chronic fatigue would they still need to consume 1500 mg of thiamin per day? The pills that you sell are only 100 mg and there's 62 a bottle and each bottle cost almost $40, so one bottle would last 4 days if taken at a dosage of 1500 mg per day. For me that's not sustainable. So my question is I watched the video where you were talking about using the specific type of thiamine because it works better, so would one still need 1500 mg of your product per day? I would love to get in with you but on your website it says you are not taking new clients.

The research using those doses was using thiamine HCL. The therapeutic dose of thiamax is usually much less. People start with 1/2 or 1 cap and work up to maybe 3-4 per day depending on response
