Beautiful card! My gateway into card making was a Stampin Up party; I feel like that's what has gotten a lot of people in to our great craft. But the first time I saw heat embossing, I was mesmerized and bought all the things! I wish I had this tips back then. I burned and melted powders until they completely soaked in to the paper so many times! Tfs. Happy new year!
awesome hints thank you. I now cut one die only ACROSS, so I don't sit any dies side by side, but lay them vertically, so one at the top of the cardstock, one nearer the bottom edge. This also protects your machine. I have a brand new machine and want to keep it in good condition. My old one gave up after 5 years :)

If I don’t have the color of embossing powder I need I will stamp with die ink in the stamping platform, then I clean the stamp and stamp again with clear embossing ink and embossing with clear embossing powder. Pretty card.

haha! Mine was Close To My Heart and I did the same thing. We certainly didn't have the resources then that we have now
