I love this card! Thank you for not editing out the mistakes. I’ve been card making for years, before the MISTI and metal dies that coordinate with stamps, so I made a LOT of mistakes that went into the trash. Over time I learned to cover up some mistakes, but I still like seeing what others do because it might not be something I do. Plus, it’s great for any newer card maker to understand that what the original design is intended to be often times has several changes before the card is finished.
This is such a cute card. Can’t wait to see what you create in the Celebrations event in Feb. See excited that I got a spot after being put on the waitlist😊
Love this card!! It is so adorable! I appreciate you showing how you fixed the little problems you ran into rather than editing them out. I learned a lot from this and will try to keep this in mind when I have issues with my cards.
This turned out so cute! Thanks for leaving the oopsies in the video. I just started making cards and it really helps to see how you went back and fixed things! I get a little frustrated with embossing!😂
Hi Mindy. Such a cute card. That stencil is great it can be used for almost anything especially if done in a very light color and maybe spotlight stencil. I love the look of stencil on a color paper. Thanks for all you do.
Cute card Mindy! Love you quick digestable videos! May I ask how you wiped off the embossing powder without smearing the ink underneath? Or was the first ink not pigment?
Adorable card. Q. Would stamping the sentiment & embossing in white multiple times build it up like we do with stacked die cuts make the sentiment stand out more? I have not tried this but I have seen it done by card makers. I will have to give it a try myself. Love your cards . Anyway sending ❤ from Melbourne Australia
I don't think it would have mattered. I think the background was just too busy for a heat embossed sentiment but it's always something a person could try :-)
The bear is so darn sweet! You just have to love him!
I love how you combined all the different stamp sets to create a sweet scene!
The ink blending and stenciling makes this card. So, so good!
That is so cute! I love that bear! I'm glad you kept the oops in. It's really helpful to learn from.
