This gives me a new perspective and motivation on saving shards. I burnt all my shards on getting Bivald, which I do not regret but this next fusion is gonna be tough.
I actually had quite some shards left over after Bivald and then opened all my void shards during the x2 event. Mostly because i just... had only a single void champ so far and wanted at least *something* there.

Would you consider starting a new F2p series for new players? Set a simple goal like you would play the account until you can 1key UN or, clear DT hard etc. It would be awesome to learn from you by watching your day by day progress.
Just amazing! Been F2P since I started Raid, but it just seems impossible to get where you are from where I'm at. Playing for about 1.5 yrs and just in the last 6 weeks I was able to get War-Tower unkillable team working. Can only 4 key UNM, so have more work to do there. I know you aren't asking me, but DeadwoodJedi has a really nice page with a lot of teams that work on the CB if you are interested in looking for more teams. I mainly get my teams from there with the speed that they say and then go to the stun target document to calculate hp, defense... And finally in the HH optimiser getting all the gear together
It would be interesting to see a breakdown of when and where you use your energy and a comparison of its benefits vs those who horde energy for fusion style events. I'll be honest I'm a hoarder of energy as it guarantees the fusion but I'm not sure what I'm loosing out on by doing it this way
Fantastic breakdown video, good job! Something I'm wondering about myself for endgame f2p life is your method for getting Relentless gear. Are you always matched with high-level ultra whales in the endgame brackets? Any reasonable ways to get them, and how many gems is reasonable to secure a new set for you at this point?
When I was mid-game I found it much easier to get relentless as I would sometimes be matched in easier brackets and occasionally could get them from summoning even as I'd saved resources in-between 2x champion chases. Nowadays it's very hard and I only tend to get relentless via Tag Team Arena. I have nearly 24k gems so happy to invest ~300-500 to try to get some good relentless on a periodic basis (maybe once every 4-6 weeks)
Found you from HH and I really like your content! Keep up the great work. I do have a question though, how do you complete CvC and stockpile resources so well at the same time? I seem to be using all my books and what not for CvC. Do you have any videos on that you could link for me or could you do a video on how to be most efficient with your resources during CvC?
Our clan has killed 2x ultranightmare and 2x nightmare clan boss daily and I always get top chests in both for over a year. I've never come close to your monthly numbers. You're pretty lucky.
I've quickly checked the drop rates and the expectation of UNM is 7 sacreds/month (vs 8 I got in this specific month). The NM chests were lucky in that month as I got 4 vs expectation of 1. So yes 12 was lucky but not that unusual given the way probability works (62 UNM and 62 NM chests). I am sure if you tracked your shards over a period of time you would see comparable numbers.

Initially you'll progress CB simply by building more champions to 6star and getting masteries (specifically tier 6 - warmaster or giant slayer). So it's really a case of picking the best champions you have pulled to rank up, trying to avoid ranking up anything that isn't useful long term. 5 good champions with masteries in lifesteal gear can easily beat Brutal CB. For NM and UNM you need to really optimise teams/gear etc.

I actually recorded a video with my summoning and what I’ll be doing initially. I think in time as we learn more the strategy will evolve - currently I don’t feel we have enough information to be clear whether it’s better to buy bigger stones or essences with the coins
The way it’s set up now, essences seem like a decades-long ordeal. So I said, screw it, and have put everything into stones. Did manage to pull a 6-star awakening for Rae, but nothing else of interest. Too bad I don’t HAVE Rae… lol
Hi mate, great video. Would you be able to a video on your early free to play methodology? I’ve only been playing for 20 days, only got 2 6 stars in Kael and Apothecary lol and things like UN Clan Boss seem a bit far off. So, I’d love to know things like how you spent your energy early game, what to spend gems on, how you farm food etc. I’ve been watching a lot of vids like from the likes of HH to try and understand things like how to build a clan boss team, how to build a spider team, what stats each champ needs for what content etc and they are all good videos and guides but when they are just slapping 5 and 6-star purple/gold items on a 6 star champ and calling it a day lol im like that’s great but how do I go about getting to that level lol how should I be building when I can get 100% crit chance, with 200 accuracy and 200 speed lol. I’m kind of at this strange point where all I’m doing is farming food on Brutal 12-6, hitting easy and normal clan boss and nothing else is viable or worthwhile for me for example the dungeons I can reliably beat don’t give the kind of gear I need to make my dudes better as they are just sitting with the free gear you (which I’ve found to be the best I have gotten so far). I’m just kind of at a loss.
Hi - so a very simplistic version and it very much does depend on each account/roster/rng: - get campaign farmer to 6star and farm 12-3 for exp - farm lifesteal and speed stages (with food) for some starter gear - get to minimum 3x 60s still in campaign, and use your farmed gear to equip them - having bought masteries for 1-2 champions, with your 3x 60s and 2x 50s you can start to farm Mino for the remaining masteries (focusing only on champions you will use long-term / clan boss ideally) - once you have 3 fully mastered 60s and are on your way to a 4th 60 (combination campaign/mino) you should be able to push dungeons far enough to be able to farm better gear there. - with your mastered team you should be able to be beating brutal CB too - all the while push arena/fw/etc as much as possible
Im f2p too and im almost to 1 year 3 days untill visix i cant save shards it is impossible i get one shard at the end of the day i open it and now i have opened only 5 legos 2 good mayby and 3 trash
Regarding the 4 unknown shards: I have been getting a lot of ancient shards (3 in the last 10 days I think) from the clan chest (the one that you get for free when your clan hits 90 stars in clan activity,) so they might have came from there. My clan just hit level 14 recently, so it might just be a high clan level thing, because I've never gotten these before
Hmm that’s certainly possible! I also think 1-2 more may have been from dungeons and I might have missed logging them. So between dungeons and clan activity chests that’s probably it
Ftp. Currently 3 keying nm clan boss. On a clan that doesn't beat him but I've been really lucky. Got 5 leggo books in the last one month. Once I can two key I'll look for a clan that beats nm and start trying to beat UNM. Fingers crossed I can do the upcoming fusion. He might be my key to getting an unkillable comp going. Have slightly over 60 ancients saved. Don't know of they'll be enough but fingers crossed
would you ever consider doing another F2P again especially in a series format.... showing all the steps you take during a week to week basis... like some of the other content creators do? as a F2P player... I think it would be amazing to watch your accounts progression from the very start
I had/have considered it but unfortunately the time commitment of running another account is simply too much - it's a struggle as it is to balance work, real life and playing the one account/making some content on it!
Will have to see, so many guides/videos to be done but my intention was always to focus on areas that I can present with my account, and areas that are somewhat less well covered by the other creators. Since I'm not in the CC program and it's not my full-time job there are constraints on what I can realistically do
recording all the data was certainly tedious :) as for saving resources, once you resist a few times it gets easier, and building a bigger stockpile becomes the goal itself haha
@@Eharbad Im learning a lot from your videos, last 3 legos i pulled were dupes ( a void lego from last 2x and double legendary event), and I pulled those without any cvc or summoning events. Hopefully I could resist those type of bait events and hoard shards also books just like you in the future. Always love your type of content, one and only true F2P raid legend!
Thank you so much for your content. For someone just starting out who wants to build a good clanboss team, it seems overwhelming trying to figure out how to get there from nothing. I understand that unkillable is usually the way to go, but how should we get there? Save every void shard we can?
Hi Cavedog, UNK is this easiest team to build/gear to get UNM on farm. However it is very roster dependant. If you make sure you’re pulling on 2x events you’ll be maximising your chances but as F2P you’ll likely have to “make do” with whatever your roster is and try to find a way to progress with your own champs/roster. This new fusion looks likely to be great for it!
This was pretty interesting, but what i'm actually more interested than shards is energy. You don't seem to have to worry about it but for me it's... hard. Currently i actually have more good champions worth building than i can, even if i wait for champion training during fusions. And that is not even talking about masteries where i'm so far behind that it would deplete the entire energy i saved for the next fusion and i still wouldn't be done. One could say that's a nice problem to have and admittedly i was lucky with some pulls... (got two good legendaries out of 20 ancients and Magnarr from pulling a single sacred during a x10 event) but for me the struggle is real.
How far into the game are you? In terms of building/mastering champions that's always something I'm "behind" on, with all the other events/fusions etc you'll never spend enough time in Mino to master everyone hence I skip masteries on champions often if I can. Early game I made Mino a priority however, and outside of fusions would skip events to focus on Mino regularly.
@@Eharbad I'm about 100 days in, i made decent progress and can farm dragon 20, IG and FR 18, spider 15. With 5 keys today i was 1m short on the last chest for unm, went a bit unlucky... So far i have 9 60ies, 8 of them full masteries but with the champion training i'll have 3 more. I guess it's not too bad but i don't really see how i could save gems/energy for the next fusion while farming masteries.

I'm curious outside of fusion and fragment events what regular tournaments or invents do you participate in? For me it's arena, tag arena always, and champ training(if it gets me a legendary tomb)
I do most of them for extra resources (epic times etc), if I can skip an IG tournament to do mino however I will. Certainly focus my attention on champion training for legendary books, arena, tag team arena. Beyond that I just do what I can with the daily resources to ensure I get something back. I rarely need to farm potion keeps as between CB and DT I typically get quite a few pots each month

Checking the drop rates says UNM 7 vs 8 I had that month and NM 1 vs 4. So yes agree 12 is a lucky month. I probably should have checked the drop rate expectations and included them in the video for comparison/reference
Hi Eharbad, do you think Plarium have changed the chances of pulling a sacred shard? I've been average 4-5 sacreds from UNM CB every month for the past 3-4 months..... I wish I got 12! Do you know what the chances are from the chests to get sacred shards?
I had a particularly lucky month in this video. I don’t think they’ve changed it but have also been accruing them a bit slower. The drop rates were data mined somewhere I believe (maybe Hellhades website has them?) I seem to recall the average if you do NM/UNM double chests daily was around 8/month. I’m out and about currently but can check the exact figures later

PK is viable. Might need to 60 or tweak gearing/builds. If you can put res on 1-2 champs it helps a lot reduce the damage you take (hp burns and poisons)
I started a new f2p, I'm 54 days in, should I pull 30 shards on this 2x in hopes a good champ that would improve my current CB team or should I wait on it, I don't think I'll be able to fuse the new guy so, was wondering what's your approach on the early to mid game
You should pull during the 2x events imo, because getting any number of epics (or even one of the great rare champs) will likely be a game changer for you early on while still building your roster. Even if you pull something that's not necessarily great for Clan Boss specifically, you could still get something that's useful elsewhere to help bring in resources that you can then use for your CB team.
As Mr Eko says at this stage you should focus on pulling during 2x events as early on you need champions and typically completing fusions is not achievable. Some fragment champions you may be able to get if the schedule lines up nicely but the next one will ~July so you'll have some time to save whatever shard type its likely to coincide with (Fusions always cover one 2x and one 10x event)
This upcoming ancient 2x is a fantastic time to summon them - particularly if you have any chance of getting the fusion champion Helicath who is looking GREAT! I'll be posting Fusion plan video shortly
My best suggestion would be to go to Hellhades or Deadwoods discord servers and go to the CB sections and post your roster / ask for help. Am sure there is a 2-3 key team on your account if you've been active during that time. Hard to help on YT comments for something as variable as CB.

I don’t know what made me do it, but I pulled my ancients for the extra Lego event, according to my calculations, I was really close to the mercy, but Plaruiam scammed me and I got nothing good:( Now I can’t even get this fusion
Fingers crossed! Based on past schedules the Champion Chase will coincide with 2x ancient and the Summon Rush with a 10x - do you have any fragment champions (eg DT secret room) champions for the chase? Hopefully CB is kind to you in the next week and you get enough shards to get over the line.
I don't think we currently have a UNM hitting slot, but we do recruit from time to time via the main discord / Hellhades discord servers. Lord of Legends is our cluster.
i think you missed mystery shards, so valuable to fill the gaps on missing points for summoning events during fusion, or if saved enough,to save void/sacred shards and complete events by themself
Yeah i did a reconciliation throughout (start of resources each versus attributed) and 4 ancients never got attributed... I could have "guessed" but that goes against my transparency philosophy! so shared the oversight instead :)

would you ever consider doing another F2P again especially in a series format.... showing all the steps you take during a week to week basis... like some of the other content creators do?
as a F2P player... I think it would be amazing to watch your accounts progression from the very start
I had/have considered it but unfortunately the time commitment of running another account is simply too much - it's a struggle as it is to balance work, real life and playing the one account/making some content on it!

Will have to see, so many guides/videos to be done but my intention was always to focus on areas that I can present with my account, and areas that are somewhat less well covered by the other creators. Since I'm not in the CC program and it's not my full-time job there are constraints on what I can realistically do

as for saving resources, once you resist a few times it gets easier, and building a bigger stockpile becomes the goal itself haha
@@Eharbad Im learning a lot from your videos, last 3 legos i pulled were dupes ( a void lego from last 2x and double legendary event), and I pulled those without any cvc or summoning events. Hopefully I could resist those type of bait events and hoard shards also books just like you in the future. Always love your type of content, one and only true F2P raid legend!

Thank you so much for your content. For someone just starting out who wants to build a good clanboss team, it seems overwhelming trying to figure out how to get there from nothing. I understand that unkillable is usually the way to go, but how should we get there? Save every void shard we can?
Hi Cavedog, UNK is this easiest team to build/gear to get UNM on farm. However it is very roster dependant. If you make sure you’re pulling on 2x events you’ll be maximising your chances but as F2P you’ll likely have to “make do” with whatever your roster is and try to find a way to progress with your own champs/roster. This new fusion looks likely to be great for it!
Any idea what "gems in" per month looks like FTP? I would guess over a thousand between clan boss, gem mine, doom tower, daily quests.
This was pretty interesting, but what i'm actually more interested than shards is energy. You don't seem to have to worry about it but for me it's... hard. Currently i actually have more good champions worth building than i can, even if i wait for champion training during fusions. And that is not even talking about masteries where i'm so far behind that it would deplete the entire energy i saved for the next fusion and i still wouldn't be done. One could say that's a nice problem to have and admittedly i was lucky with some pulls... (got two good legendaries out of 20 ancients and Magnarr from pulling a single sacred during a x10 event) but for me the struggle is real.
How far into the game are you? In terms of building/mastering champions that's always something I'm "behind" on, with all the other events/fusions etc you'll never spend enough time in Mino to master everyone hence I skip masteries on champions often if I can.
Early game I made Mino a priority however, and outside of fusions would skip events to focus on Mino regularly.
@@Eharbad I'm about 100 days in, i made decent progress and can farm dragon 20, IG and FR 18, spider 15. With 5 keys today i was 1m short on the last chest for unm, went a bit unlucky... So far i have 9 60ies, 8 of them full masteries but with the champion training i'll have 3 more.
I guess it's not too bad but i don't really see how i could save gems/energy for the next fusion while farming masteries.
Last suggestion I have is how do you use resources during CvC to maximize points while not wasting resources for future.
The problem I have is I dont have a pc so trying to get a one key UNM CB, I haven’t been able to do. I can 2 key UNM and one key NM, and brutal.
How do you manage champs too? Do you keep everything and load vault or do you only keep what is actually relevant to you?

Fusions from the protal only count for champion chase, not summon rush...

Hey great video, I am a f2p, is there any chance you can assist with my clan boss team?
I'm curious outside of fusion and fragment events what regular tournaments or invents do you participate in? For me it's arena, tag arena always, and champ training(if it gets me a legendary tomb)
I do most of them for extra resources (epic times etc), if I can skip an IG tournament to do mino however I will. Certainly focus my attention on champion training for legendary books, arena, tag team arena. Beyond that I just do what I can with the daily resources to ensure I get something back. I rarely need to farm potion keeps as between CB and DT I typically get quite a few pots each month

After you finish faction wars, like you have, how are you continuing to get books and shards from faction wars?
that was a one-off from the opening of Shadowkin faction crypt during the month I recorded all the data for the video

My guess for the 4 mystery ancients is dungeons.
12 sacreds is insane luck, I think it’s more realistic to see 6 or 7.
Checking the drop rates says UNM 7 vs 8 I had that month and NM 1 vs 4. So yes agree 12 is a lucky month. I probably should have checked the drop rate expectations and included them in the video for comparison/reference

Hi Eharbad, do you think Plarium have changed the chances of pulling a sacred shard? I've been average 4-5 sacreds from UNM CB every month for the past 3-4 months..... I wish I got 12! Do you know what the chances are from the chests to get sacred shards?
I had a particularly lucky month in this video. I don’t think they’ve changed it but have also been accruing them a bit slower. The drop rates were data mined somewhere I believe (maybe Hellhades website has them?) I seem to recall the average if you do NM/UNM double chests daily was around 8/month. I’m out and about currently but can check the exact figures later

Have you been able to watch my FW series? I have guides for every faction. Visix is hard carry for DE as long as you can bring some healing/support
@@Eharbad Yip sure have!! Been very helpful. Unfortunately, I don't really have a healer at the moment in the DE Faction other than Pain Keeper, but he is at 50. I guess if I make him 60 I should be able to clear it?
PK is viable. Might need to 60 or tweak gearing/builds. If you can put res on 1-2 champs it helps a lot reduce the damage you take (hp burns and poisons)
I started a new f2p, I'm 54 days in, should I pull 30 shards on this 2x in hopes a good champ that would improve my current CB team or should I wait on it, I don't think I'll be able to fuse the new guy so, was wondering what's your approach on the early to mid game
You should pull during the 2x events imo, because getting any number of epics (or even one of the great rare champs) will likely be a game changer for you early on while still building your roster. Even if you pull something that's not necessarily great for Clan Boss specifically, you could still get something that's useful elsewhere to help bring in resources that you can then use for your CB team.
As Mr Eko says at this stage you should focus on pulling during 2x events as early on you need champions and typically completing fusions is not achievable. Some fragment champions you may be able to get if the schedule lines up nicely but the next one will ~July so you'll have some time to save whatever shard type its likely to coincide with (Fusions always cover one 2x and one 10x event)

It was a lucky month with CB - but I’d say 10-12 a month is about the average total.

321 day in and i can still don't unm . Makes aquisition of shards for fusions impossible.
My best suggestion would be to go to Hellhades or Deadwoods discord servers and go to the CB sections and post your roster / ask for help. Am sure there is a 2-3 key team on your account if you've been active during that time. Hard to help on YT comments for something as variable as CB.
@@Eharbad l miss crucial champions. I don't have unkillable heroes. No valk or shield Heroes. My healer is apothecary, jareg is my leader. Frozen banshee is my poisoner, fayne is my def down and bulwark is my HP Burn guy

Fingers crossed! Based on past schedules the Champion Chase will coincide with 2x ancient and the Summon Rush with a 10x - do you have any fragment champions (eg DT secret room) champions for the chase? Hopefully CB is kind to you in the next week and you get enough shards to get over the line.
I don’t have any ready for the champ chase, but I got 1 sacred and 1 void this morning! I’m starting to think I can definitely get the fusion now:)

I don't think we currently have a UNM hitting slot, but we do recruit from time to time via the main discord / Hellhades discord servers. Lord of Legends is our cluster.

i think you missed mystery shards, so valuable to fill the gaps on missing points for summoning events during fusion, or if saved enough,to save void/sacred shards and complete events by themself
and now out of those 16 sacred shards, how many popped legendary?... i'd BET zero on a F2P account.
Most likely used them for a guaranteed or fusion - so essentially got at least one legendary :)

Yeah i did a reconciliation throughout (start of resources each versus attributed) and 4 ancients never got attributed... I could have "guessed" but that goes against my transparency philosophy! so shared the oversight instead :)
