One the BEST investments ever. I ordered the miracle mod from Vintage Vibe, and installed it on my ‘73 stage Rhodes. The action difference from before and after is like night and day! I was so amazed with the result that when I started playing the new action, I kept playing straight through the night until around 3am! Thanks V.V!
I've installed this on a couple of Rhodes and have to say it's the most significant thing you can do to improve the action. If you're considering doing this to your piano I highly recommend it. Done correctly, your piano will likely play better than it did when it first came out of the factory.
Earlier model keys, circa 70-71, have the "Marcel" pedestal slope and seem to be lighter. We do not mind this action, but you are welcome to install the Miracle Mod if you like it faster!
