Hey Darren love the transition from TikTok to RUclips and Instagram. Small constructive criticism if you would allow me to. I love the style of the video but I am finding it really hard to listen and read at the same time. I have to either pay attention to what you are saying or read and ignore you neither of which I want to do. My other option is to constantly pause the video, read it, and then resume but that gets annoying quick. Also it makes it hard to watch the videos if I'm doing something else since I am missing a lot of critical information on the text. I think a "podcast" style video were everything is talked might work a little better, not sure. Love the videos tho.

Hi Darren, is it possible for a narrow body FO to wait to upgrade to wide body until they’re senior enough to hold a line as a FO on a wide body? Then wait until they’re senior enough to hold a line as a CA on wide or narrow body? That way they could avoid ever being on reserve after initially being on reserve as a new hire narrow body FO. I’m just a little bit confused on how that works.

Is this because in DFW a person with say 50% plus seniority can have a better life style as a commuting triple FO than that seniority would get them as a Narrow body Capt? I’m guessing the huge domestic network into DFW makes the base attractive for commuters.

On the other hand .... the way US ATC is providing landing clearances feels like something highly forbidden, it feels wronng to readback a landing clearance as nr 3, 4 ... and you know that you dont know if the runway is clear of any traffic., it feels wrong, a "no-go", the same as intentionally cross a red traffic light in a car :)
