It's way easier to use a deep dish socket and a speed wrench to install it. Press down, keeping alignment straight, spin it backward until you feel it drop then slowly spin forward and you will be less likely to cross thread it. You can just spin it right down with the speed wrench, if it is too tight to move easily it is cross threaded. Great tip with the Loctite, I'm going to re do mine.
For sure that's easier, but not everyone has those tools. You can usually find a big crescent for cheap at Harbor Freight or similar, or borrow from a friend.

Says in the video, for lubing the threads and O-ring. However, especially with the R3 upgrading to a heavier weight oil is recommended (not mentioned in the video).
