Alien 3 beats Aliens' extermination by guns. In Alien 3 guns are not underpowered peashooters, but possess good dakka to fight the massive alien menace.
i played this on retro arch just a little bit ago and i got a scary "glitch" when i exited the game by pressing esc the flashing hud in the lower left stayed on the screen flashing but it was barely visible but slowly went away. i was like oh man i hope i didnt mess up my monitor. any body else come across that?
In theory the robots were either not able to differentiate humans from aliens and just functioned as sentries... Or the company programmed them to exterminate any survivors in order to easily cover-up the outbreak and illegal research they were conducting.

RUclips always show shooter game like the house of the dead ! but I still love your video because it reminds me this game is still a part of my childhood! When I was a kid, I didn't dare to play this game because my parents said that alien movies are horrors that are not suitable for children and I like shooting monsters but I'm afraid of horror!

@@arronmunroe I just installed mame for the first time and the game (no tweaking) and played for a 2 minutes and after i exited out from mame(esc), I saw something like a screen burn imprint from the UI of the game on my monitor.Turned the power off for a few minutes and it was gone, but enough to freak out. Do you have any idea what have caused that mate? Any setting in particular that i need to touch? Cheers

@@123OGNIAN I just use the escape key too. Because I normally run MAME from command prompt, this closes everything, instead of going back to the menu, but I don't think that matters. That error message is just saying the graphics aren't perfectly emulated in this game, but I don't think that's related to your problem either.

This is also my first experience with Aliens film. I played this and Colonial Marines on PC which both published by Sega.
The Alien rail shooter arcades makes killing the Xenomorphs look easy.
Well in the rail shooting arcades they give you a lot more ammo and opportunities to get more 🤷🏻♂️
