I currently run our backing tracks in mono out of the mixer into a Bose L1 Compact, and daisy chain into a 2nd Compact. I want to add a Stagepas 1K because they have more output than the L1 Compacts. Should I run into the 1K, then use the LINK OUT into one Compact, then daisy chain as usual, or out of the MONITOR OUT into one Compact? Again, mono tracks and a couple mics in the mixer, to speakers. Also, Compacts only have hi-z input jacks. Can I run an " XLR to 1/4" " cable from 1K into Compact? Or do I need a transformer coupler?
I play gigs in restaurants and bars (guitar and two vocals - chill gig), and this system is really good in closed space. Few days back I had a gig in the open and the space was crowded so I had to push the volume up and it started to plop. Now I’m wondering is it possible to buy just another column speaker to boost the dcbl on the high frequencies?
@@she_sings_delightful_things from what I understand, you can use 2 XLR cables to hook up 2 Stagepass 1K PA systems in order to create 1 larger mono PA with double the inputs working in tandem.
@@she_sings_delightful_things my pleasure! You can set up 2 Stagepass 1K systems as a stereo pair but you'll then be limited to using one mixer as opposed to using both, but I do stand corrected? I'm also attracted to the Stagepass 1K because of the fact that you have so many options of using 2 of them together. I'm not sure however if the app will allow both units to be controlled at the same time as one larger system with 6 mic inputs, 2 stereo inputs and 2 Bluetooth inputs????
It would be great if Yamaha released a Stagepass 2K with 2000 watts and a higher SPL like some of their competitors. They should add a 4th mic input and also include XLR left and right inputs in addition to the jack inputs. A separate 3 band eq and dedicated 1 knob compressor should also be included for each of the mixer inputs in addition to the reverb. The subwoofer would no doubt be a bit larger but the extra features would be worth the extra size and weight.
This unit is not ready to be a pro unit. The amp went out on mine, Yamaha had me take out the amp module and return just that. They "repaired" it, I received, reinstalled, and it is still not working. No lights, no sound. The system uses a solenoid protection system that does not protect the amp components, It seems only for a power surge. A true protection circut monitors the transistors, ICs, speakers and inputs. The 1K does not.
Really good Sound 👍
But one separate knob level for the sub is missed.

Yes. You can link two Stagepas 1k PA systems and used it as stereo via an xlr cable. That should do the job.
So is or isnt the yellow master eq nob also compression ?
With a pair of 1K Stagepas how many pax can it cater to? 300 to 500pax?
Why U not test the mic with reverb
Hello. Can I use a system with 3 or 4 Stage pas 1k and how I’m connecting them ? Thanks!
Not positive how to connect, but i know for sure you can pair 2 at a time.

@@madness8556 I loooove that! That's helpful info, I plan on purchasing another, thank you!

Has anyone heard of the Yamaha f12 speakers are they any good they have a b&c horn and celestion 12 inch driver
Well i certainly hope yamaha make a mk2 version of this, because 121 max db just doesn't cut it in todays pubs, functions etc.

erm.. black on black background... someone didn't think this one through.
Can this one unit cover 500 pax of audience
Not likely. You'd need 2 of them for larger gigs.
Well I hope there better than the JBL prxone cos they are Total rubbish.
