I definitely got to watch the announcement video because I did see it but didn't get a chance to listen to it yet. It will be a new chapter for your family, and you will be closer to your own family in Virginia. I enjoy watching your videos every week! The before and after shots are always my favorite! Athen is so cute! When he was younger than he is now, I love seeing him in the background. He definitely has grown up a lot in the past few years.

I'm 36 now (lol).. (My birthday is also Oct. 8th 😊). But when I was in kindergarten my mom had to do the same and they accepted me, so I was able to graduate at 17 instead of 18! I say go for it!
I’m glad you would say still go for it and you graduated early ❤️ that’s how Aubrey my oldest will be too when she graduates she’ll be 17 but her birthday is in August! 😊
I consider myself to be kind of a minimalist, and then I had to move last year. Oh my goodness there was so much stuff. I couldn't imagine being a normal person and having to pack an entire house!

Hello, I have a suggestion. If you will pay less money for space not weight, use suction bags for your clothes and textiles. It will consume less space coz u will use a hoover to suck all the air out. U will be able to put a few bags inside the boxes you are using.

We go to Virginia Beach two or three times a year. My favorite place! I have been in my hubby for years to move there. I’m so happy for you to finally be able to be with family. You hid those boxes from us very well!

Wow, you have lots to do! So glad you’ll be close to family. All my siblings live in different states and have my entire adult life I’m 70! I’m the youngest of 9 and the only one who stayed 10 miles from our hometown 🙁 my kids hardly knew their cousins. Family is so important! You are lucky! Can’t wait to see all the upcoming videos.😊❤

The quote you got for moving isn't bad. Our quote was higher to move from NY to NJ-a 3 hour trip. Good luck to you. Packing is so very tedious. One little closet fills 8 cartons. It is like things multiply!!

Make sure you make an inventory list for every box. Movers lose boxes. They number each box when you arrive, and they unpack check off all your boxes as they come off truck (you should have a list from mover showing all boxes). The mover we used only pays 30 cents on the dollar for broken items and the insurance was extra $500.I would take your new computer with you in car! jewelry etc
What a brilliant idea!! I’m going to number my boxes!! & it is ridiculous the insurance you get 😩 I told my husband the same thing that I wanted to bring my computer with me because I’m so scared. Last move ALL 3 TVs were broken! We cannot afford to replace them again!! So we are going to pack those ourselves in nice boxes to make sure that won’t happen again and the important stuff try to squeeze in the car with me then kids & animals 😅 it’s gonna be a interesting 25 hour drive haha

So hard moving believe me, kids toys, I did last year think March, books and puzzles, I literally sat down with my boys and asked, do you want this one, took about an hour...I had to get their permission to let go😂 in case we donated something they really wanted to keep, but we did it👏👏 we have cube library now in new house on landing, all books have storage unit at mo so alot of kids stuff there, which will be another chapter, but had organised in bags to donate so ye

Ashley, "Congratulations" on moving to be with your family in Virginia! It's so exciting! Moving is fun & a chore to get everything taken care of & what goes & what stays or given away, etc. I haven't ever moved out of state Washington, or very far in state. Just stayed in the same city I was born in. It wasn't real hard, thank goodness. We moved just with our car, only 1 car & a uhaul truck. But it's still hard with 4 kids & all their things & all of my husband & my things. But it works out in the end. I did try to declutter some, but it didn't always work out! So it'll be fun watching you clean, declutter, & packed & move to Virginia. I'm excited to see your new house & what you do to move in. Ashley, we moved 1132 miles and had movers to pack the house. We stayed in a hotel and met up with them the next day. I wore myself out, unpacking the house in one day. My mom said you never know how much stuff you have until you start moving.
Oh wow that’s a long move too!! It is so exhausting for sure! It sure does make you realize how much stuff you accumulate 😅
When you move back to Virginia, are you planning to take vacations to Texas?
