hi April, i am a postpartum nurse, just a tip for you, the best underwear/pads you can use after birth esp for csection are the depends underwear, it is sooo comfy and won't sit on your incision site, you don't have to wash any panties and you dont put pads on top of chux and wear your mesh underwear, saves you time and you just throw them out after every use. good luck on your delivery!

I love watching these type of videos to see what other people take with them. I'm due May 25th, this is my 5th pregnancy. I'm a minimalist so I only pack clothes for myself (shirt, sweat, and granny panties), the baby (sleeper, hat, and mittens), toothbrush, deodorant, face products, mascara, bb cream, and eyebrow pencil. I love everything the hospital provides from the mesh underwear, squirt bottles, pads, etc so after my 2nd kid I stopped packing so much. lol

Good luck with your delivery. I also like the hospital gown after delivery and its just more cozy( I had 3 cesareans) and you can ask for a second to use as a robe too:) Can't wait too see that sweet baby and I am sending love to your beautiful family

Hi April! I love and apprecite how real you keep it. After watching another RUclipsr mom's birth Vlog; I realize how amazing you are. You're not worried about looking like you're gonna go to a modeling shoot (although I know you'll still look beautiful). You do not need all the "make-up help" to do so. I cannot wait to meet Baby Blueberry!!!

I'm glad you posted this! I'm not giving birth until September or late August, but it's my first and I know people like to bring their whole house just to be prepared so I've been doing my research with people who have already given birth and tell you the things you should actually bring and what you're not going to use
Thank you Liz for watching! I recommend watching hospital bag videos of moms who have had multiple babies those are the most helpful. I wish I did that my first time around cause I packed my whole house last time too hahahaha!

Preparing for my 2nd c section first one was very unplanned and didn't have my bag packed so now I'm planning a little early .
And then More hair ties .... cause your going to kinda wanna have your face out of the way when your just hanging out in the hospital😆! I already know I'm going to cry tears of joy when I see labor vid.

April,ditch the panties and the pads. Use Depends!!😁😁😁 they stay in place,you wont leak,and you just feel more secure.

I have had two c sections, wich in both they got me walking six hours after the surgery to heal faster, and it totally worked for me, also They got me take a bath six hours later as well, thats weird that they dont let you move. And also you get to go home the day after...
My first pregnancy they had me walk the next day but not the first that's nice six hours later you got to shower. Every hospital and experience is different. :D
