I wish he showed the internals. This laptop has 2 upgradable ram slots, 2 nvme ssd slots, 1 upgradeable wifi card slot AND Thunderbolt 4! Only thing missing is a 16:10 or 3:2 display with good srgb, adobe rgb, and DCI-P3 color accuracy.
Yeah and one of those slots is a gen 4! mine didn't come with the thunderbolt 4 port unfortunately even though it said it did, was a bit misleading since there was a few models. Oh well, It does have display port over USB C though so now I can use my monitor at 165hz because I never had a display port before! I love the colour too! the SK Hynix 512GB SSD it comes with is blazing fast as well!

I had a choice between this acer aspire 5 i7. Or msi.. I chose msi for graphics card.. had it for 2 days now.. and when I power it on its a blank screen. I have to force shutdown. Then try again. Once I browsed the web.. the screen crashed went all pixelated. Force shutdown again. The battery is like 2hrs. And 8 core with no fan? It's extremely hot..

@@SoulOfTech Maybe I'm old school. But it feels like just 5 years ago 500 bucks was enough for a mid range decent computer. Anything going close to 1k was premium. These days it's like 1k is mid range, with 2.5 k being premium. Good lord.
@@jayrollo1352 I totally feel your pain, laptop prices have sky rocketed especially since the whole chip shortage drama during Covid. 7 years ago $500-$700 was considered midrange. Now a days $700 to $1000 is considered mid range sadly :(
your video is so grainy i thought my internet connection couldn't get 2k res, nor 4k. Whatever camera or editing software you used destoryed the quality of so called 4k... madly grianly. But ok review thank you. Jsut upload as 720p, becuase it's clearly not even 1080p res.... just does not feel right at all.
I bought this laptop a year ago and since the first day the fan was super loud especially when it was on charge. It is so loud that I have trouble hearing the video im watching. I sent it back so it can get repaired but when it came back the fan noise problem was still the same. Im going to take it back to the store I bought it from and ask for a refund or a replacement because the $1200 I paid was a ripoff for this product.
@@royalabhishek246 it’s not unreleased per say, it’s being rolled out in different regions in varying paces. For example it’s coming to US next month but it’s available in Canada and some European countries already. The pricing mentioned in the last chapter is the estimated retail price for US.
It has 2 RAM slots (upgradeable to 64GB RAM) and 2 SSD Slots (the free slot supports Gen4 drives). Both are good for something in this price range. I'd gladly pay more money if they offered an option to upgrade the display to something better.
@@albahernandez7531 When you are working in airconditioned environment, moist is forming on the display. The hot air coming from the exhaust will eliminate the moist.
Lets also not forget HP and Dell have the same exhaust functions. My HP DY has this and been using it for 3 years now with no screen problems.@@grey8607

there model with QHD 100% sRGB screen, I ordered it for my wife, the screen is amazing for that price. The best cheapest multimedia laptop for today

Aspire line could use better cooling, even the new ones - I noticed the ports are much larger since, for example, the 2020 models

I am using i5 1240p at 33% brightness and backlight off I get around 4-5 hrs and also turn off RTX 3050 graphic card.

100% I noticed that as well, it sounds like an Airbus A380 on the runway waiting to takeoff. Sent straight back. Also the build quality is awful.
