Amorphis has very cool songs. This one I can easily listen from the beginning to the end, because there's no growling. I mean, those growling songs are great, too - they are just not that easy on my ears. 😅

Amorphis is one of the pioneers of the Finnish metal scene, started in 1990. Three of the founding members, Esa Holopainen, Jan Rechberger and Tomi Koivusaari still play in the band. When they released their first widely successful albums, the Tales from the Thousand Lakes and Elegy in the 90s, they had struck a really poor recoding deal and never received a fair payment from their work. This understandably demotivated the band and they were close to breaking up.
Luckily they got rid of the lousy deal and in 2005 they found their current singer Tomi Joutsen, who fit the band perfectly having both clean singing and growling abilities. They’ve released many high quality and critically acclaimed albums since.
From the Tales from the Thousand Lakes to The Beginning of Times albums (that’s about 7 albums), their songs tell stories from the Finnish national epic, Kalevala. Last three albums are somewhat also insipired by Kalevala as well as Finnish nature and folklore.
Amorphis’ songs are best enjoyed with lyrics and by checking the backstories beforehand at least for the Kalevala songs.
They are one of my favorite bands in addition to Nightwish, Insomnium and Bloodred Hourglass. Some song links below, hope you enjoy, peace and out! 🤘

since you liked Tomi's voice so much, check out the project Hallatar, he is the singer for it. The guitarist from Hallatar is also in the band Swallow the Sun, he wrote the entire album in a week after the death of his life partner Aleah, so the album is full of grief and anger, one of the best doom/funeral doom albums ever. In my opinion Tomi delivers his absolutely best vocal performance on that album. I saw that You have reacted to Jinjer. If you want more female growling i suggest You reacts to Arch Enemy. They are an famous Melodic Death metal group from Sweden. The song Nemesis live from Tokyo 2008 with the former singer Angela Gossow is magical! I truly recomend that song and version
