All about Chicago's Chatham neighborhood, Part 1

- The Chicago Sun-Times recently ran a high-profile series of articles about the changes in Chatham, a neighborhood that has long been considered the crown jewel of Chicago's African-American community.
After reading the articles I reached out to Worlee Glover, a man who knows Chatham well and who operates the Concerned Citizens of Chatham page at Facebook. Worlee kindly consented to drive me around Chatham and talk about Chatham's past, present and future.
This is the first video of a series, most of which we spend driving around the neighborhood talking about everything from schools to Wal-Mart.

Beautiful neighborhood i went to Chicago state university. I missed this neighborhood!! Can't wait to go back and visit!!!
What part of Chicago is DePaul university located.

Moving to chatham soon. Not afraid of any thugs. My husband and I will make sure to clean house and be part of the community. Is kind of challenging and the neighborhoods are clean and well maintained.

Chatham is a nice neighborhood surrounded by bad neighborhoods. Auburn Greshman to be specific.
creole broussard beautiful place but in a flash can still loose your life do to gang culture other then that it’s beautiful!! But surrounded by rougher areas.
