It's great imo, Misty needs some sort of change so water not being the meta means seeing less Misty. However, maybe it also means that Misty has a lower chance of being changed because it isn't top.
Pika is dominating just because Water is the stronger(thanks broken Misty), so it's funny to understand that the reason for the water absence is that water is too strong 😂. You "print" a broken card, it destrois the meta, like in this situation, because the meta morphs to counter that card.
Starmie Ex is super busted. Alot of decks just fold to a staryu 1 energy from misty into starmie. He'll even pika ex deck loses to starmie ex deck if it goes 2nd into a one heads misty flip I think.
I've been fond of the basic Mewtwo in that deck. It does wonders against the Pikachu match-up by giving you a one-prize baiter that can punish them in the end game if you draw it late. Having the math to KO Pikachu absolutely makes it good enough to include. Granted this means sometimes whiffing on a pokeball and thus a small tick against it for consistency, but I like the list better with it there rather than playing the extra XSpeed or Red Card. The same concept applies to him as you explained for Jynx and Kangaskhan, too. He helps smooth out brick draws by giving you something to wall with
When the game came out everyone said arcanine is trash, and it looked trash. But i got a second arcanine last week and started playing a budget deck with centiskorch and one moltress. and i somehow started blowing out pikachu's, charizards, and mewtwo. I think its because it outrades pikachu and gets going faster than charizard and mewtwo
Had no idea people thought Arcanine was trash, it must because of Starmie Ex? Because Starmie Ex isnt meta because of Pikachu Meta, Arcanine is insane. Arcanine really has one good counter in Starmie.
People said arcanine was trash as he self damaged with no upside, and had no proper regen cards like grass has. I think it was less arcanine doing well, and more moltres cheating energy doing well lol. As fire expands, gets more options and cards, the decks will become even better in tournament. The downside of its main attackers are the only hold up. Moltres lead with good coin flips can be deadly, whether you’re juicing an arcanine, centiskortch, or whatever.
I’ve never been hurt by red card but I have been helped by it tons of times. I love when my opponent plays red card. It’s like they’re playing a 21st card in my deck on their turn.
Im really enjoying Rapidash, Kenga Charizard Ex deck rn. It can put early pressure while giving energy to Charizard naturally, after that Charizard just can finish pokemon off with his 60 attack and one shot big things with his 200. Feels really good into Pikachu deck

The thing with "Pikachu counters" is that the best counter to a T0 deck is another T0 deck. You can simply play Pikachu yourself and be good against everything in the Meta, or you play a lower tier deck that tries to prey on the best deck but gets beaten by most others.
I've been doing consistently well enough (as one can in a pretty luck based card game) running Dragonite x Greninja Its nice playing outside of the main meta when most people are either in it or trying to counter it, and not worrying about losing extra points with EX cards is a lot less pressure and more fun imo.
i made a deck with 2x Arbok's 2x Weezing's 1x Meowth and 1 Wigglytuff and i've had so much fun with this deck cuz ur pokemon become online so quick that ur opponents cant build their pokemon up
Its all luck if you know the game, if you, the Pikachu & Mewto decks have their best draws into a matchup both would win. Its easy math. (Except someone is making a dumb play)
in the end its that first hand draw. if you get blessed with your openers then its going to be an interesting time. but if you get trainers and support cards and your opponent has their base down, might as well concede.
I’ve been using a tentacruel, Greninja, and Starmie deck and it’s absolutely crazy. The poison stall, extra 20 from Greninja, and starmie to come in with 90 damage is so diverse for all deck (except electric of course)
Mewtwo is my jam and I think jinx/ Kangaskahn is cool but the problem I have is that I'm not trying to let my pokeball searches adhere to that much of a chance. You need Mewtwo and ralts asap to set up and I don't think the kanga and jinx are worth the inconsistency

Aerodactyl's ability "Primal wingbeat" will send the active pokemon back to the deck when successful after a counflip. You can imagine the insane drawback, after all the enemy's set up, their energy tempo crushes to bits while having to redo the entire stage 2 evo cycle all over again.

I've been saying this for a bit, if moltres EX gets a better fire ex to pair with it'll be the top deck no problem. Its a searchable Misty because of pokeball and the recent Arcanine Ex result is a showing of that, its a faster and more consistent version than Zard maybe not as high of dmg but its a great answer to both pikachu and mewtwo for an off meta deck.
Consider not moving your mouse cursor around so much, like you’re gesturing with your hands in real life.
