I went a few years ago, great day out. The Puffins are walking past you on their way to their burrows. I took my Canon 100-400 V1 which struggled with the flying birds. I had left my 70-200/2.8 in the car, which in hindsight would have been a better choice. The Razerbillls/Guillimots were on the rocky ledges as the boat dropped us off. I did get a fledgling Little Owl sat up on a rock waiting to be fed, that was a bonus. We're actually on holiday in Pembrokeshire this week, I'm a short drive away so I may take the kids there for a visit. The rainy images were a nice change from the norm, well done for persevering and going anyway. It looks like it was quiet there.
Yes a fantastic location and in my view the best place to photograph Puffins, The Razorbills and Guillemot have left the cliffs when I went unfortunately and apparently the Puffins have left by now but there may be some stragglers if you get lucky, ahh interesting to hear little Owl have been on there with the lack of trees, I've seen Short Eared Owl there before though. The 2.8 would be perfect for them in flight I may get one and visit again next year with one

Maybe a lot more island scenes and the birds with a talk over would be more appealing than your outstretched arm
Thanks for the feedback, Sometimes we can't always get the balance right for everyone, I'll be sure to try more of that going forward 👍🏻
