Meanwhile when I watch your casts. Since I don't play BW much anymore and don't know all the up-to-date builds. I love hearing you explain why something is being done, why it's bad to do this, why they wouldn't do this. The analytical side I get to engage with, without having to research hours and play hours to understand.

Even the high level pro-toss players seem to struggle alot with HT/Arbiter micro
Terran is really imba with tank vulture doing millions of dammage while goons just tickle vultures

So, between the name of the video, the lenght of the video, the text in the thumbnail and Artosis' face I feel VERY excited to immerse myself in an unpredictable, wild and fun TvP. The only thing that can make it better in any way is if some random internet idiot leaves a comment which clearly indicates who won without actually saying terran and that comment happens to be on top of the comment section, so on my phone I have NO chance to miss it, while switching to fullscreen... and damn was I lucky today...
One thing you can do is simply squint your eyes so you see very dim and blurry until you have the video fullscreen. I use that on my laptop until I have the video full screen because I do not want to know how long the match is. Doesn't work 100% of the time, sometimes I get to see the time in the left side recommended videos, but if that doesn't happen I know I'll be spoiler free.
HAHAHAHA, it happens to me all the time. What i do is, i just close my eyes and put fullscreen without looking the top comment, i agree, takes all the fun knowing who wins hehe.
I mean you know where the comments appear on your phone, cover the section with your hand while full screening, it's not too hard

The only way a Starcraft 3 is going to work to bring the game to the next level and keep it overall integrity is to introduce voice commands as a quintessential part of new complexity of gameplay while still keeping the chess like balance
11:50 I have a great idea that would of course never happen: Program maps to change depending on what races are playing - not enough to change the purpose of the design, but just slightly enough to not have it be super hard to defend for some races vs others, like the top base Arty points out. By "change" I mean just squeeze in the perimeter to reduce the surface area Arty mentions....or something.

(12:30) - The storm drops are just bad. Why storm where the SCVs will end up then storm where they were, do it the opposite way around and you're going to get approximately 1-1.5 seconds per storm at least which is 37-56 damage per storm (PURE DAMAGE) - SCVs only have 60 H.P. I see it all of the time & don't get it.

I love watching this CNSL5 cast every day! I would love to see a brief graphic of the tourney bracket, maybe at the beginning of some of the videos?
That was a great match. Ample really shined with his decisiveness - he handled the early game very well and pushed key moments at great pace. Some unlucky moments and unfortunate reads on positional play swung the supplies dangerously for the toss. Really good demonstration of how well oiled these pro-gamers can get - terran was pushing main while hitting all his macro cycles and attacking other bases beautifully. Sad to hear about protoss representation, but they have to show up and win. Looking forward to the rest, I've actually went back to watch CNSL 4 because the quality of these games were so good.

Love these casts! Always waiting on these to be released daily. Is there someway you could cast some Flash? I watched ASL Season 2 Ro4 Jaedong vs Flash and that entire set was completely nuts (and you casted it as well!). Are there any landmark games that aren't VODs that you think would want to cast like a "Brood Wars Greatest Hits"?

One question, could a build with marine range work, where you try to play a zerg like style of quick third but with bunkers instead of sunkens, since marines with range in a bunker have the same range as a dragoon?
Marines get hard countered by things like reavers and psi storm. Everything Terran needs to fight protoss comes out of the factories and starports anyway.
@@grouchomcgrouch4150 yeah, I'm aware. I guess if terran had a good counter for reaver, it'd work..
You could, but it wouldn't work. Even dragoon range would kill you. The only protoss unit marines are actually good against is the carrier.
@@jakovmatosic4890 Terran does have good counters to reavers, they just come out of factories and starports lol basically if you were to build a bunch of barracks to crank out marines you'd be spending a lot of time, minerals, and supply on things that can't do much for you in the match up instead of the things that you can actually win the game with. Marines aren't even going to beat gateway units on their own. They're going to need medics, stim, range, +1 weapons... it's just not worth it. Even if you get all of that and you build enough infantry to secure your natural and a 3rd some how you won't be able to stop the first reavers or templars that come your way

12:56 I 'm behind on watching past broadcasts on Artosis's channel, but I recently watched one where Arty watched a replay to find out he made like 95 workers! Never seen him do that before, hah! But hey, I think it's amazing players like Arty can keep track of so many things in games like this, anyway.

14:10 Arbiters seriously need to be less beefy. Look at how many shots it takes from a turret.
They're so expensive, they deserve that. Plus, that's the theme of protoss units in general. I see nothing wrong with that.
Nah. It's the protoss's most high tier unit. It has the longest build time and highest gas cost of any unit in the entire game.
Expensive AF if the reason, not to mention that you need the 2 tech paths to build the Tribunal.

Writing this before watching the game... I've just recently come to realise how much comments and likes actually effect the rate at which videos get showed to people not specifically looking for them so here's a comment about how Artosis casts have played a major role in my general wellbeing the past couple of years.
I absolute love your casts Artosis, and the fact that I get to enjoy them daily for free is an absolute blessing. Keep up the good work!
