Hello from Australia 👋 just found your channel and enjoyed this video! Have subscribed and looking forward to watching some more of your content. I was initially confused when I first seen the video as we went on a cruise to NZ December 23 and it was called Countdown but made sense once I started watching! Thanks for sharing. I loved going to pack and save when we were in Napier.
Thanks for subscribing glad you enjoyed it. It’s been very confusing calling it Woolies I keep forgetting!! Pak n save is a favorite of mine will film a visit soon.
Thank you for your videos, they are practical and helpful. I will be moving to New Zealand soon but to the South Island. I wondered if you knew if the Kmart and Woolworths stores are similar with regards to stock compared with the North Island? Thank you😊
How exciting for you!! Yes they have Kmart in Christchurch and Woolworths all over the place on both islands with the same stock. Also a supermarket called Freshchoice is owned by Woolworths and in more rural towns it’s more common then Woolworths. I go to Christchurch monthly with work and I’m planning a 4 week road trip around the South Island at Christmas which I will film it all. What will be your nearest city or big town?
Woolworths is over priced and the quality of produce is very poor. Often you will find past sell by apples for eg with rough skin left out ++. I regularly see birds flying around in some of their stores. They also do not stock a good range of produce. I used to buy uncle Ben’s rice now they only sell Australian rice which is poor quality. Our own meat producers sell us the scrap whilst exporting the best. I don’t shop in their stores anymore much prefer to shop in Kiwi owned.

Capsicums in Australia at the moment are priced between $10-14 kg so yours are at a give away price
