I think you got the right Number 1: the spectre of Jock forever looming over the House of Ewing from the grave, is positively Shakespearian!
JR talking to Jock's portrait is alot like the Dimeras talking to Stefano's picture or everyone who comes into the Chancellor mansion talking to Katherine's.
There was a good scene on Knots Landing where Greg Sumner talked to his father Paul Galveston's portrait
If Knots Landing was done today, young Michael would have been diagnosed as dyslexic and a warm story would have come of it.
Well he had ADHD, but it was called hyperkinesis back then
I can't understand why the Bobby and Jock scene (Dallas) got a dishonorable mention. I thought that was an awesome scene.
@@melissagahn indeed it was, but not usual for Bobby & Jock, here they didn't get along at all. Thanks for your feedback and happy weekend. Toni
As usual, it's tough placing, but I'd put JR and John Ross ahead of Bobby and Christopher. I'd also put Bobby and Jock in top 10 along with JR and James. One of JR's greatest lines was "you have no morals, you have no scrupels. You just might be worthy of me yet!" Whatever the problems were with the last two seasons of Dallas, JR and James were entertaining.
Wow! Blake Carrington. What more can I say?
Jock and Bobby weren’t that bad, outside of that one confrontation. After all, Bobby was Jock’s favorite son. Jock and Gary were more of a dysfunctional father-son relationship, including in the will where Jock placed a restriction on Gary’s trust fund. Jock should really have put a restriction on Ray’s trust fund given Ray’s lack of experience in handling big money. He also should have restricted JR’s trust fund since JR nearly bankrupted Ewing Oil twice.
Yes, Jock even said that he spoiled Bobby.
Well Blake couldn't do anything to Adam regarding rape considering Blake raped Krystle early in season 1.
But did Blake consider it rape since Krystle was his wife?
Wasn't the little boy Richard was talking to in a few horror movies?
Sid had a brother? Was that Paul's father? What happened to the brother?
The Gary movie talk was so bad.
