Now that's a great combo, 45cc in a buggy! Haven't seen those available in U.S. for a year now. I have an older Losi copy but won't fit 45cc, so I put an OBR 34 reed and a 2 speed in it, it's awesome! But this V5 with 45cc would have been my first choice. I have 2 gassers with the rovan 45 engine, heavy 4wd trucks need that torque, and bajas can run rediculously high gearsets! Been bashing heck out of them for years, they just don't die!
The v5 45cc is amazing! We are running a billet chassis on this. Have a look at the unboxing video. We need to get the interference issue corrected and get this beast back out. We have got a few projects on the go. One is the LT45 that we bent, check out the video. We have got a taylor billet chassis for it now. We are just planning what engine to use going forward, or do we modify the 45cc engine.... time will tell!
Just some info here, Europeans who are used to the incredible engines like Taylor absolutely hate the Rovan 45. BUT- it's a $270 motor, not $2,000+ like a pro engine!. And when you take this rovan apart you'll be saying- WTH?! The cylinder and case are from different engines! People are speculating that somebody in china realised that they could bolt these parts togeather, it's amazing they even run. Despite this, I love mine, TONS bottom torque and top rpm is close to my Rovan 36's. Go BIG on gears and it's awesome. Haven't seen mods on this, except for expensive reed block modification. Good luck with your project!@@thercstore.
@glenhenning9261 you hit the nail on the head! To be honest, for the money, you can't go wrong with the 45cc. When you see what you get for your money, you can't go wrong. Hence, we are still thinking what route to go down with the LT45.
These radios are very sensitive on certain areas. There might be a cell tower somewhere around there causing the interference, as sometimes you may not know because a lot of cell phone towers are camouflaged as trees. It happens to me too… if I run it in one field, it runs great, but not good in other fields to where it triggers the kill switch after a certain distance. Believe it or not, it can also happen around certain power lines.
@Ericdagreat I agree. However, I've run other cars here with the same model transmitters with no issues. I should just swap all the electrics. I completely forgot I still have this. I never ran it again since this video. I will get it back on the channel, I think, and sort it out.
😂😂 you come out with a answer to the servo glitch with something like static blah blah from the clutch bell and you didn't no what a Anti-interference capacitor is? you said something like a wiring thingy. 😂 Sorry pal but im really glad I didn't have this info slung at me if I was looking for 5th scale advice,
@BAJAFLATOUT Thank you for your input. Your 100% correct, we would need an anti interference filter due to the static charge build-up! None of our videos are rehearsed and all done naturally. This is why we use the comments section to answer questions correctly. We appreciate your comments 🙏🏼
Hi, the live stream will be approximately 8pm uk time. You will receive a notification if switched this on stating we have gone live. The winner will be drawn live on RUclips and called on live stream.

What happened?
The servo was glitching Because the clutch was doing what?
