There were a lot of great physiques on display amongst Mr Olympia winners of the past ...! IMHO, Sergio Olivia has the very best , aesthetically speaking ...
7:53 To place 8th on the Olympia stage, FIFTEEN YEARS after his heyday, was a phenomenal achievement in itself! Especially considering that the quality of the competitors that year was some of the best ever; Lee Haney, Al Beckles, Samir Bannout, Bob Paris, Roy Callender, Tom Platz etc! This guy was off the scale!
Pffftttt!!! Sergio should have won a lot more titles!!! Unbeatable in his prime, way ahead of his time!!! Muscle density, symmetry, muscle mass, aestetics!!!! Unbeatable!!!! He is the G. O. A. T. 😼 😎
No weak points from the beginning. His best form was from 1972 and on as he dominated WBBG contests winning Mr. Galaxy and World Professional Bodybuilding titles.
The triceps was dominating his Biceps though. And compared to Arnold he didn't have that true biceps peak. But overall he had almost the complete package.
His lackluster biceps (in most poses) was his only weak spot. Lack of conditioning isn’t a genetic flaw, but might’ve held him back somewhat. Forearms, triceps and lats let him pull off that shockingly great victory pose - which nobody has come close to matching.
Sergio Oliva did not dethrone Larry Scott at all, because in 1967, the previous two-time Mr. Olympia Larry Scott did not even compete at the Mr. Olympia.

Îmi amintesc De Sergio Oliva. De când eram mic copil. De prin revistele de culturism. 😊😊😊
I met him at the Arnold Classic and he was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet!
Excellent Beautiful Sublime Inmortal the Great Máster Sergio Oliva.
Has anyone been a legend for so long.
And while they may continue only as a memory, the legend becomes only evermore the Legend.
As a teenager we happened upon Sergio outside a body building contest and me with about 5 Other guys had a conversation with him for about 10 and 15 minutes.
Bodybuilders looked really good, back on 1960's...
He looks great, he had an amazing shape, goob proportions.
Full of shit
I had the privilege to see Sergio in 1974. The videos don't capture the magic. What is being said here is true. He didn't look real. It was as if he had come from another planet. I know that his shoulders and lats didn't reach the full width of the stage, but they seemed to. He was the greatest bodybuilder I had ever seen.
Awesome 😎
Great video footage of this great bodybuilder that I have never seen anywhere else before. Great job
La Bestia Cubana 🖤🔥
The Ray Harryhausen posing style is awesome.
Just imagine in those era.. sergio can have magnificent physics even without steroids us mind-blowing...he has fantastic physics even in today's era they didn't have..
Sergio came with the best physics in history of bodybuilding with only hard work and raw talent...
U see in today's era all the fighters are going for steroids for muscle development..and become big..but in today's old era's sergio was truly a fantabulous bodybuilder...and he is a legend that today's era should know and learn from him to become fabulous bodybuilder without any steroids..and his biceps and triceps ate huge..and only one Sergio in the history of bodybuilding..guys..
Please man. Sergio was magnificent but don't even imply that he didn't take steroids.
There were a lot of great physiques on display amongst Mr Olympia winners of the past ...! IMHO, Sergio Olivia has
the very best , aesthetically speaking ...
The best ever.
I loved this. Keep these videos coming Bud. Thank you
Thank you, bro... you know wht a ton of More to come!
This is a great bodybuilder for me
This video is crazy good, could you also do one on Shawn Rhoden?
Happy you enjoyed the video... Yup why not stay tuned with us
I always thought Sergio had an incredible physique. Right there with Arnie.
Full of shit
Phenomenal bodybuilders!
Yeah bro its hard to believe that a bodybuilder looks like this in 1960's
27 inches waist, 29 inches thighs and 1970lbs.... its crazy 😳
unbelievable
1970 lbs IS UNBELIEVABLE
Add 10 " more on the waist and for bubble guts 15" more and u will get ""Mass Monsters ""
197*lbs
Wat do u mean by 1970 lbs ..is he n bufallo
7:53 To place 8th on the Olympia stage, FIFTEEN YEARS after his heyday, was a phenomenal achievement in itself! Especially considering that the quality of the competitors that year was some of the best ever; Lee Haney, Al Beckles, Samir Bannout, Bob Paris, Roy Callender, Tom Platz etc! This guy was off the scale!
Beast
Thanx for posting this. When I see Sergio, I am in awe. That double biceps where sticks his arms straight out, simply amazing
Sergio olivia the beauty of bodybuilding with awesome genetics
Pffftttt!!! Sergio should have won a lot more titles!!! Unbeatable in his prime, way ahead of his time!!! Muscle density, symmetry, muscle mass, aestetics!!!! Unbeatable!!!! He is the G. O. A. T. 😼 😎
These were the good old days of Bodybuilding . He had an amazing physique..
Um dos físicos mais belos do fisiculturismo.
Actual GOAT
The BEST bodybuilder ever!!!! His measurements were unbelievable. As close to perfect as a human can get.
Спасибо БОЛЬШОЕ ! ОЧЕНЬ ИНТЕРЕСНО ! ЗДОРОВЬЯ, УСПЕХОВ и везения )))
What ?
HE WAS BETTER THAN ARNOLD
No weak points from the beginning. His best form was from 1972 and on as he dominated WBBG contests winning Mr. Galaxy and World Professional Bodybuilding titles.
The triceps was dominating his Biceps though. And compared to Arnold he didn't have that true biceps peak. But overall he had almost the complete package.
Correction, Arnold only had one peak. His left arm biceps were as FLAT as a pan cake.@@Magnus_Loov
His lackluster biceps (in most poses) was his only weak spot. Lack of conditioning isn’t a genetic flaw, but might’ve held him back somewhat. Forearms, triceps and lats let him pull off that shockingly great victory pose - which nobody has come close to matching.
Deffo the golden eara of body building..my inspiration was serge nubret in my first bodybuilding book age 14 unreal
He's also was the inspiration for Baki character Biscuit Oliva
O único mr. Olympia totalmente natural, sem anabolizantes. Grande cubano Sérgio Oliva.
Jajajaja Natural? 😆😆😅🤣😂
@@apofis05 Esta loco.
I do not know how his strange training, allowed him to get such a muscle development.... that guy is a mistery, and an exception
Sergio Oliva did not dethrone Larry Scott at all, because in 1967, the previous two-time Mr. Olympia Larry Scott did not even compete at the Mr. Olympia.
SERGIO OLIVA had mass with class! at his best no one could ever beat him! GOAT
The one that always kills me is the front lat spread from 72. Somehow, it's the greatest chest pose ever caught on film.
Sergio best genetics ever
One of the best for sure... a body like that in 1960's it's incredible
when the sport was really hard working not just needles and chemicals.
Sergio the magnificent
Beast !!!!! Armold destroyer. 🏋️♀️💯🫡
